Direct composite veneers guided by laboratory wax-up.
The patient wanted a smile change with a brighter color and a minimal invasive preparation of the teeth. Thinner cervical area after gum recession (post ortho) would have forced an agressive preparation of the proximal areas of the tooth, in case of conventional veneers, so i’ve chosen to close the black triangles and change the shape by composite, after teeth whitening. I had a lot of help from the lab’s wax-up done by Restore - dental lab Thank you!

Direct composite veneer restoration of the frontal 6. Patient came into clinic asking for a minimal invasive treatment to correct her smile so we decided to do direct composite veneers based on a laboratory wax-up model.

Patient came in office with aesthethic issues and teeth sensitivity. I had to be as minimally invasive as possible and the whole process was done with sandblasting, IDS and composite restorations.

Simple composite case after traumatic fracture of the tooth.

Patient from abroad came in emergency complaining about the fracture of his central incisor. The only option i had was to do a direct composite restoration (sadly without wax-up). Even 2.1 was eligible for a crown, i had to go minimally invasive this time and it was reinforced with fiber glass composite. This was 1 session before and after. I hope to see the patient again for a follow up and to restore the laterals. 😊

The story of this smile started with the request from the patient to fix all the frontal decays. Initially i wanted to go for direct composite. After he saw the level of destruction on his teeth he asked for a more durable option so we went for crowns, keeping the teeth vital. The result is 4 anterior zirconia crowns and 2 direct composite on the canines ( he refuses to change the lenght and aspect of his canines). This is a routine case of a single tooth restored with a porcelain-fused zirconia crown. The patient came into office with a premolar discoloration and gums inflammation . After a root canal treatment (Dr. Colceriu Adrian) we decided to apply a crown. We did a build-up and a vertical preparation , digital impression followed by a PFZ crown. Sometimes we need to change the old restorations before is too late. The patient came in the office with severe bleeding and discomfort ( difficulty while flossing). On the rx we can see secondary decay. Old restorations were replaced and the contact point was restored. Platinum Dental Center

This is a beautiful case that is still under surveillance. The patient came with the desire to do whatever it took to save a molar that was going to be extracted, even the best option was an implant. I decided to give it a chance and to postpone the implant. While i put the provisional crown and waited for the 6-months recall, the crown on the mesial premolar cracked after a bite trauma. The workflow was : ▪️1.6 - gingivectomy and bone adjustment, pre-endodontic build-up, root canal treatment (Dr. Colceriu Adrian) followed by fiber glass post, vertical preparation, provisional crown 6m, multilayered zirconia crown (iDentLab Cluj-Napoca ID Lab). ▪️1.5 ablation of cracked crown, vertical preparation, multilayer zorconia crown.
