Banca pentru Alimente București | Inaugurarea noului hub logistic

La Timisoara, am dat startul proiectului anual Global Volunteer Days, in care toti colegii sunt invitati sa-si lase birourile pentru o zi si sa se implice impreuna in comunitatea locala.
Saptamana trecuta, peste 80 colegi din Timisoara au contribuit la perdeaua forestiera de la Giarmata cu peste 1000 salcami plantati. Multumim partenerilor nostri de la Verde de Banat pentru organizarea acestui eveniment si predam stacheta colegilor din Bucuresti pentru a extinde si mai mult impactul acestui proiect global.

In aceasta primavara, Colecta Națională de Alimente, cea mai amplă campanie de solidaritate din țară, ajunge la a 10-a ediție.

Fii parte din schimbare si devino voluntar intre 19 și 21 aprilie 2024, pentru a-i sprijini pe cei ce vor dori sa ofere o porție de hrană celor aflați în dificultate. Împreună, putem transforma gesturile mici în realitate schimbată pentru mii de familii vulnerabile!

Anul acesta, Colecta Națională de Alimente se va desfășura în 832 de magazine ale celor mai mari retaileri din România, parteneri deja tradiționali ai Băncilor pentru Alimente: Lidl Romania, PENNY Romania, Auchan și Kaufland Romania.

🌸 În aprilie, aducem hrană și speranță în viețile celor care au mai mare nevoie!

💚 Colecta Națională de Alimente revine în preajma sărbătorilor de Paște pentru a marca a 10-a ediție a celei mai mari campanii de solidaritate la nivel național, cu un impact semnificativ în viața celor care au nevoie de sprijin.

🛒 Vino și tu alături de noi între 19 și 21 aprilie și adaugă o porție de hrană pe masa celor aflați în nevoie. Cum funcționează? 🤩După ce îți faci cumpărăturile la unul din magazinele implicate în campanie, la ieșire vei găsi o cutie sau un coș, special amenajate. Acolo poți contribui în mod concret în călătoria spre un „mâine mai sigur”, printr-o donație sub formă de alimente neperisabile. Iar dacă ai orice fel de întrebare sau curiozitate, uită-te după un voluntar zâmbăreț în vestă portocalie, gata să te îndrume oricând. Împreună hrănim speranța!✨

Today, October 27, is National Sustainability Day in Romania, thanks to the efforts of Ambasada Sustenabilității în România.

Sustainability is living in harmony with nature, meeting our needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own. It's important because it protects our environment, improves our quality of life, and ensures a better future for everyone.

How to contribute to sustainability?

As July unfolds, we find ourselves in a special month dedicated to spreading awareness about the harmful effects of plastic on our environment.

By actively participating in this global movement, we can make a meaningful impact on the environment. Choosing plastic-free decorations, opting for unpackaged foods, and using reusable shopping bags can make a significant difference that can lead to a more sustainable future for all.

We work hard, we celebrate, and we volunteer together. We are a community of like-minded individuals driven by the same passion to make the world a better place.

This month we organized our annual Global Volunteering days in which we took a break from work and joined amazing initiatives to help our community, including painting a classroom, cleaning Bucharest and Timisoara streets, and helping kids from disadvantaged communities.

This global initiative is an excellent chance for us to give back to our community, meet new people, and learn new skills while having a positive impact on the world, as we believe that small actions can lead to significant changes.

New year, new opportunities at Sustainalytics!

This year we are launching our first IT internship in Bucharest and Timisoara. This is a paid program offering a flexible schedule. It will allow the participants to sharpen their programming skills by working on real projects with mentors while having space and time to attend courses and exams.

This week we had our final interview sessions and pizza and we hope you will enjoy some smiles from behind the scenes!

Thank you to all our colleagues that made this year amazing!

It was a great journey from the involvement in student programs, job fairs, party celebrations to getting back to the community, planting trees, cleaning animal shelters, organizing activities in schools and elderly centers, and many more.

This month, with the Global Giving Drive, our colleagues raised over $800,000 globally for local charities working to end food insecurity in our communities.

And now, closing the last quarter of the year, we want to congratulate everyone, from the people that made it happen to the investors that chose to trust us.

Last week we had a very special and unique celebration for our company: Global Volunteer Days.

Across all our global offices, thousands of employees joined community efforts in their locations to support causes dear to our heart.

This year we visited several forests to clean them and remove the weeds, organized activities with children in disadvantaged environments, cleaned animal shelters, connected with elderly communities and much more.

Having a positive impact on the community runs in our company DNA, therefore Morningstar Sustainalytics offers 2 extra days per year for volunteering, in addition to the Global Volunteer Days.

We are more than excited to meet again at Flight Festival on 2-4 September in Timisoara, as we are always happy to be a proud partner of this amazing event.
