SAROIL LLC Held a Public Council Session in Aznakayevo

The Company organized a regular public council session on education and health care of the region in Aznakayevo.

The Council session was attended by Rustam Mukhamadeyev, Deputy General Director of SAROIL LLC and Azat Yagafarov, Deputy General Director of SAROIL LLC, Renat Mamin, Director of the SAROIL LLC’s Charity Fund, Marsel Shaydullin, Head of the Aznakayevsky Municipal region, Ildar Fatikhov, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, bloggers, representatives of the media and public organizations of the region.

The issues of preschool education, school education, the organization of children's leisure, as well as the health care system, relevant to the Aznakayevsky region, were raised during the meeting.

The results of the SAROIL LLC’s social activities in the Aznakayevsky region over the past 3 years were presented to the event participants and new projects were introduced to them: the construction of a tennis center, biolaboratories in the region's schools, and grant support for children's interest groups. In addition, during the meeting, the representatives of SAROIL LLC heard the applications of the region’s residents, aimed at improving the social situation in the region.

The program “SAROIL LLC’s and childhood. Dialogue with the future” will help improving the quality of education for preschoolers in Aznakayevo, aimed at the development of kindergartens in the south-eastern part of the Republic. The Company will consider the issue of purchasing lego robots for the Aznakayevo Center of the Children's Creativity to attract the interest of children to robotics and technical creativity, and it also plans to support the development of sports tourism.

SAROIL LLC plans participating in the project of re-profiling Lyceum No. 4 into a Physics and Mathematics Lyceum for gifted children and its cooperating with the Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute.

The Company will provide rent apartments for medical personnel involved in the Aznakayevsky region aimed at resolving the staffing issues in the healthcare sector. This will continue SAROIL LLC's program to support the healthcare system and will help to significantly ease the solution of the personnel issue in the Aznakayevo Central Regional Hospital.

The Public Councils are becoming a traditional form of SAROIL LLC interaction with the population and they are organized to enhance the efficiency of the Company's social investments in the regions where the Company operates. Previously, SAROIL LLC used a similar format of communication with the public at large and governmental authority bodies in Almetyevsk and Leninogorsk.

The final public council of the current year is scheduled for September.

Minister of Construction of the Russian Federation and Head of SAROIL LLC Discussed the Construction of Industrial and Social Facilities

Irek Fayzullin held a working meeting with Nail Maganov, General Director of SAROIL LLC, during which issues of regulatory and legal interaction in the field of constructing industrial and social facilities were discussed, as well as the application of composite materials in the construction and housing and communal utility sector.

The high-tech composite industry is on the rise, its products have significant potential for use in the industry, including as an environmental aspect that reduces the carbon footprint.

Products manufactured by the SAROIL LLC composite cluster are used in the construction of the SAROIL LLC Refinery and Petrochemical Plants Complex, while metal-plastic pipes are used in crude oil production.

The Company is currently working on expanding the production of composite materials, which have significant advantages in terms of environmental friendliness, speed and cost of installation, as well as the subsequent operation.

Following the meeting results, cooperation will continue in housing and communal service projects and in improving the regulatory framework in the industrial construction.

Saroilllc Is Launching the Internet Energoportal

The Company has put into commercial operation a system for planning hourly energy consumption.

This is the first system of the new digital “Energoportal” platform developed by the “Saroilllc Digital Development” experts. One of the most energy-intensive crude oil production processes, i.e. ensuring the inflow of liquid, from JV Saroilllc-Upstream, had been chosen as a pilot process for the implementation of the new platform.

The current expenditure level for the fuel and energy resources in the Saroilllc Group is significant - over RUB 46 billion per year. The largest expense item is payment for electricity, which Saroilllc buys at the 6th price category. This procurement category allows reducing the payment tariff rate through the accurate planning of the hourly consumption schedule. The energy consumption also accounts for a significant portion of the Company's greenhouse gas emissions, and the effective consumption management contributes to the achievement of targets aimed at reducing such emissions. Therefore, daily monitoring, analysis and effective planning of the consumption volumes is a priority for the power supply service.

The Energy Department together with the structural divisions (“Saroilllc – Energosbyt” and “Saroilllc – Upstream”) draw up a daily consumption schedule for each hour. The daily data of the actual expense indicators allow determining the deviation for each hourly interval. The planned target quantity from the actual deviation value is 1.5%.

At the same time, it is necessary to allow for all changes in the operating modes of significant technological units: pumping stations, commodity parks, boiler houses for the production of high-viscosity oil and other significant power consumers. The more accurate is the plan compiled taking into account all the factors, the lower will be the cost of paying for the deviations.

Previously, the hourly consumption had been planned using various unconnected information systems. The employees of structural divisions used to send the data on the changes in the equipment operating modes to the planning service through the electronic document management system. The consumption schedule had been formed on the basis of complex calculations.

The first of the five of the new “Energoportal” platform systems implemented on the basis of a microservice architecture, made it possible to switch over the formation of the consumption schedule from the manual to the automatic mode. Forming a schedule for the day ahead, the system will automatically take into account the changes in the operating mode of each significant technological unit or the changes in the volume of fluid production. This eliminates the human error factor and reduces the likelihood of errors in the information preparation.

In addition to the hourly planning system, the “Energoportal” includes a system for calculating the planned consumption of fuel the and energy resources, as well as the energy saving and the energy balancing programs.

The new platform will cover all processes related to the use of the fuel and energy resources at the enterprise, starting with planning the consumption volumes and ending with operational monitoring of the consumption volumes and on-line control at specific technological units.

After the implementation of all five systems of the "Energoportal", the Company will receive a single software package for effective planning, monitoring, efficiency analysis and the formation of a unified reporting of the consumption of the fuel and energy resources.

Togliattikauchuk Has Produced the 13 Million Tonne of Products

The enterprise has produced 13 million tonnes of synthetic rubbers since the company’s foundation.

The products of "Togliattikauchuk", which has celebrated the company’s 60th anniversary this year, are popular in more than 30 countries of the world and they are consistently included in the top hundred of the best goods in Russia. The synthetic rubber is used in the production of tyres and rubber products, as well as in the construction, medical and food industries.

Presently, Togliattikauchuk is actively developing as a part of the SAROILLLC Group and produces every seventh tonne of the rubber in Russia. The production reached a record volume of 208 thousand tonnes in 2020.

The company pays great attention to the technical upgrading, production modernization and environmental improvement in Togliatti.

Togliattikauchuk is implementing a long-term comprehensive program of measures aimed at reducing environmental impact, which eliminates sources of emissions, turns the waste into the products, increases the quality of wastewater treatment and the degree of raw materials conversion, and is engaged in resource conservation.

SAROIL LLC Is Expanding a Compacted Well Grid Drilling Project

The Company received approval from Glavgosexpertiza for the construction of 9 new wells at the Yamashinskoye field.

According to the project approved by the state body the plans provide for well infrastructure development of 9 production wells at two well pads of the SAROILLLC’s oil field in 2022. All in all, the plans provide for drilling and infrastructure development of 36 wells at the SAROILLLC’s Yamashinskoye field in 2022 within the framework of the project for the fields’ development using the technology of compacted well grid drilling pattern of small-diameter wells. The potential well stock for the technology application in this field is more than 100 wells.

The compacted well grid drilling technology is a highly efficient method for increasing the Company's oil production with application of an innovative solutions set.

The project implementation is envisaging 100% import substitution. are more than 1,700 wells with cumulative production of over 3 million tonnes commissioned at SAROILLLC to date drilled within the compacted grid drilling project.
