World Youth Festival 2024

❗️Invitations to the Festival will exempt participants and guests of , as well as accredited journalists from paying visa fees.

In addition, foreign guests will have a priority while going through customs. Customs control of goods intended for the preparation and conduct of our event that are placed under the procedure of temporary import and their re-export will be carried out free of fees related to the release of goods.

Let's summarize the results of the application campaign ✅

😊 309,542 applications were received from 188 countries to participate in the World Youth Festival. 82,000 of them were from teenagers aged 14-17.

🇷🇺 Applications were received from all regions of Russia, most of them from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Belgorod, Voronezh, Moscow, Tyumen, Omsk Regions and Republic of Tatarstan.

🌍 In addition, 83 National Preparatory Committees have been established on all continents.

Cheburashka is the official mascot of !

This became known on August 20 at the closing of the Festival of Young Art "Tavrida.ART" in Crimea.

🤝The choice of Cheburashka as the mascot of the WYF 2024 underlines the importance of friendship, mutual understanding and solidarity between the youth of different countries.

🗺 We are preparing the regional program for future participants as carefully as we are preparing the Festival's event plan in Sirius.

That's why in Moscow we held a strategic session, «Development of the regional program: approaches, routes, partners, heritage», which was attended by the heads of the Directorate, as well as several dozen representatives of regional ministries of youth policy.

Together we are preparing an unforgettable program for the Festival participants, which will allow young people from other countries to discover Russia, get acquainted with life in different parts of our country, learn the traditions of numerous people and enjoy the beauty of our nature, historical, cultural and sports facilities.

The World Youth Festival is the largest youth event in the world that will be held by the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Festival will host 20,000 young Russian and foreign leaders in such fields as business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteering and charity, sports and various areas of public life. Teenagers representing children’s organizations and associations will join the Festival as well.
