Chamomile
Chamomile is a genus of perennial flowering plants of the Asteraceae family, or Compositae.
An infusion of chamomile flower baskets has an anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, antiseptic, weak astringent, analgesic, sedative, anticonvulsant, diaphoretic, choleretic effect.
Other names of chamomile used by the people: maryasha, romanok, popovnik, belyushka, sunflower, whitehead, morgun, blush, roman grass, camila.
The Russian name "chamomile" was borrowed from the Polish language and comes from the Latin romana ("Roman").
Chamomile grows up to 60 cm in height.
Chamomile is an absolutely unpretentious plant that blooms in the first year of life. It has a thin stem and narrow green leaves.
