Over 78% of Rwanda’s population is under the age of 35. Many of whom are currently raving in the pursuit of love, relationships and all that’s in between. Safe to say, people are going on dates.
However, about one-third of these young people admit to lying about their age on their first date. With a few even feeling comfortable pretending to be three years younger than they really are. An overtly trait done by mostly women. But if age is just a number, why do women feel the need to alter the truth?
Is it societal pressures? Is it to get more dates or to fit in? Find out at the link in our bio as we ponder the question, “How much is age a factor for women in dating?”

In true and strict Rwandan culture, having s*x before marriage is generally not accepted, as it is in many other African countries. This view stems from the notion that marriage represents maturity and understanding of s*x. More so, talking openly about s*x is even trickier to bring up in conversations with parents.
But, it is vital to ask: Even though addressing this matter with parents can be uncomfortable, should it seem inappropriate for children to ask their parents about it?
We’re covering all that in our new piece, at the link in our bio.
