WHAT IS ISO 50001?

ISO 50001 is the international standard for “Energy Management System (EnMS).” This standard provides the best robust framework to optimize energy efficiency in both the private and public sectors.

The main objective of the ISO 50001 Standard is to improve the energy efficiency and energy-related performances. This standard also helps in identifying various methods in energy deduction opportunities.

WHAT IS ISO 22000?

ISO 22000 is an International Standard specialized as “Food Safety Management Standard (FSMS).”

ISO 22000 combines and supplements all the core elements of ISO 9001 and HACCP. It provides effectiveness to their framework for various aspects like development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvements of the Food Safety Management Standard.

ISO 22000 is prominently aligned with other major standards like ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. It enables effective system integration.

ISO 27001

ISO 27001 is a part of the ISO/IEC 27001 family of standards. It is identified for Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard which is published in October 2013 by both the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and also the International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) standards respectively.

Full name of ISO 27001 is ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for Information technology, Security techniques, Information security management systems and other requirements but it’s generally known as “ISO 27001”.

ISO 45001

ISO 45001 Standard defines the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This standard is based on OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001 standards. Both these standards are combined as per the international requirements of management systems along with the critical requirements.

These requirements are conducive environment with importance on health and safety management at the workplace. The health and safety management system integrates with the quality of the products or services at the workplace of any organization.

ISO 14001:2015

ISO 14001:2015 standard maps a framework for a company or organization which helps in following a set of effective environmental system patterns. This can be used by any organization regardless of the industry sector and their activities. This standard provides assurance to the organization management, employees, stakeholders and other teams about the environmental impact and improvements with constant measurements among themselves.

ISO 9001:2015 QMS

ISO 9001:2015 is a standard to set certain criteria for a quality management system. This standard can be used by any organization irrespective of the size of the organization. ISO 9001:2015 is applicable for small, medium, or large scale industries regardless of field activities.

This standard based on various quality management principles like strong customer focus, motivation, implementation, process approach, risk management, exploring opportunities to achieve continuous improvements in the business

The ISO 9001:2015 standards are implemented in a form to demonstrate the ability of the organization to consistently provide quality products or services reliable to the customers and build strong and lasting customer relationships.

Saudi Product Safety Programme SALEEM SABER

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation (SASO) has made the decision to implement the Saudi Product Safety Programme (SALEEM) by launching the SABER platform for online Certification for Exports to Saudi Arabia

Stage 1: Issuance of Product Certification of Conformity (PCoC).

The PCoC is issued for every regulated product as per the applicable product standards defined in relevant Technical Regulation. The PCoC is valid for a period of one (1) year. In order to facilitate the products registration on SABER, our office in KSA is ready to assist the importers to register their products on their behalf.

Request for Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC) by Importer.
Entry of Product Details in the system based on KSA Customs Tariff Code.
Selecting of Certification Bodies (CBs).
Payment of PCoC Fees.
Conformity Assessment and entry of substantiating Documents/Verification Results by CB.
Issuance of PCoC from the system.
Stage 2: Issuance of Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC).

Every regulated product included in the shipment will be verified whether valid PCoC exists for that product and if found to be true will be issued with the SCoC. The SCoC is valid for that specific shipment only.

Request for Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) by Importer.
Payment of SCoC Fees.
Verification and confirmation of valid PCoC for the product by CB.
Issuance of SCoC from the system
