“Oh Allah, allow us to reach Ramadan” Ameen🤲🏻❤️
Ramadan is a spiritual time for Muslims. As a month which symbolises dedication, reflection and discipline, Ramadan allows us to shield ourselves from sin through fasting. As said by the Prophet (PBUH):
“Fasting is a shield. So the fasting person should avoid obscene speech and should not behave foolishly and ignorantly, and if somebody fights with him or insults him, he should tell him twice, ‘I am fasting.”
In addition to fasting, extra attention is also given to more acts of worship. These acts can come in the form of prayer, dhikr, reciting Qur’an, giving charity, and asking for forgiveness from Allah (SWT). Through performing such actions which are pleasing to Allah (SWT), we become closer to our Creator and are given more rewards during this blessed month.

Marriage is a relationship of trust, compromise, and tranquility that is as strong as any blood relation. In many instances, its importance is mentioned in the Holy Quran, while the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself has encouraged Muslims not to delay this noble act.
But the point here is that marriage in Islam is not only meant to fulfill the needs of a human being rather, it happens by the will of Allah Almighty, and therefore its responsibilities should also be fulfilled by both husband & wife for the sake of Allah.
Let’s learn a few Duas from Quran-o-Sunnah to protect our marriages.

When you feel lonely, broken and depressed, never forget that you are not alone. Even if you have no one, you are in the care of Allah. Allah’s closest people (His Prophets & Messengers) went through same ordeals and pain.
In Quran, we see plenty of examples of the sufferings of Allah’s chosen ones. Allah tells us that we are not alone in the struggles of life. People much better than us had to go through such tribulations. They never gave up and kept asking for Allah’s Mercy and were then blessed.
Let’s learn the Duas of Prophets & Messengers mentioned in Holy Quran.
Stay tuned!

Istighfar (Astaghfirullah) is the gateway of relief and happiness. Whenever you are in distress start reciting it and Insha Allah it will take you out of your anxiety and will put you in a peaceful situation and will give you happiness.
In general, continuous Istighfar removes anxiety, increases Dua acceptance, opens the door of sustenance, mercy and knowledge, is a gateway of productivity, relieves and eases you and mostly importantly removes sins.
Let’s learn this simple and beautiful supplication through Quranic verses & Ahadis.

The first of the 5 Pillars of Islam is Belief in Oneness of Allah. As Muslims, we believe in Allah in accordance with His Beautiful Names & Attributes. Learning and memorising the 99 Names of Allah (SWT) will help us to identify the correct way to believe in Him.
“Allah – there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names.” (Qur’an 20:8)
“And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them.” (Qur’an 7:180)
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said:
“Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise.” (Bukhari)

✨Supplication for protection from all sorts of Harm | Misfortune | ill-fate | Unforeseen Calamities✨
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never failed to utter these supplications in the evening and in the morning:
“O Allah, I ask Thee for security in this world and in the Hereafter: O Allah! I ask Thee for forgiveness and security in my religion and my worldly affairs, in my family and my property; O Allah! conceal my fault or faults (according to Uthman's version), and keep me safe from the things which I fear; O Allah! guard me in front of me and behind me, on my right hand and on my left, and from above me: and I seek in Thy greatness from receiving unexpected harm from below me."
Abu Dawud said: Waki' said: That is to say, swallowing by the earth.

Hisn Al-Muslim 120:
Allāhumma innī `abduk,

O Allah, I am Your slave,
and the son of Your male slave,
and the son of your female slave.
My forehead is in Your Hand (i.e. you have control over me).
Your Judgment upon me is assured,
and Your Decree concerning me is just.
I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with,
revealed in Your Book,
taught any one of Your creation,
or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You,
to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart,
and the light of my chest,
the banisher of my sadness,
and the reliever of my distress.

Being connected to Allah is one of the key lifestyle factors in coping with depression/sadness/anxiety/stress etc.
There are several beliefs and practices in Islam that affect Muslims' mental health. Islam presents clear recommendations about behaviours, ethics, and social values, which help Muslims to tolerate and develop effective coping strategies to deal with stressful life events.
Muslims believe that there is just one God and relying on God's power can help them resolve their problems.
Muslims believe in the life after death and the Day of Judgement. These beliefs help them tolerate stressful life events better and have good behaviours towards others.
Muslims believe in destiny, which means, "everything-all events and happenings in life-have a purpose and there are no random occurrences".
Belief in destiny helps Muslims to accept bad situations (like diseases and death of loved ones) easier.
Allah categorically told us: “Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort”. (Surah Al-Araf verse 28).
When Muslims are praying, they are talking directly to God. Praying is a relaxing activity. After the prayers, Muslims also talk to Allah about their wishes and problems, they ask Him to help them.
Here are some supplications as per Quran-o-Sunnah that help us find peace.

Umm Salama, the wife of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
If any servant (of Allah) who suffers a calamity says:
"We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return; O Allah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it,"
'Allah will give him reward for affliction, and would give him something better than it in exchange’.
She (Umm Salama) said:
When Abu Salama died, I uttered (these very words) as I was commanded (to do) by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
So Allah gave me better in exchange than him. i. e. (I was taken as the wife of) the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).

Djinn, Black Magic and Evil Eye are real. They have been mentioned in Quran & Ahadith various times.
The Quran also explains that the djinn, like men, are a creation possessed of power and authority, and they, just like them, can choose between obedience and disobedience, faith and disbelief. This is confirmed by the story of Satan and the event of the jinn affirming the faith as found in Surahs Al-Ahqaf and Al-Jinn.
At scores of places in the Quran, it has also been stated that Iblis at the very creation of Adam had resolved to misguide mankind, and since then the Satanic jinn have been persistently trying to mislead man, but they do not have the power to overwhelm him and make him do something forcibly. However, they inspire him with evil suggestions, beguile him and make evil seem good to him. For this, see An-Nisa 117-120, Al-Araf: 11-17, Ibrahim 22, Al-Hijr 30-42, An-Nahl 98-100, Bani Israil 61-65.
Black magic / sorcery / witchcraft / voodoo and all forms of performing dark arts (or going to a sorcerer - one who performs black magic) are completely forbidden in Islam.
This can be seen in verse 102 of Surah Al-Baqarah where Allah categorically mentions Black Magic and those who perform it become disbelievers. It was sent to earth with two angels, Harut & Marut - to test human beings whether they fall for it or not.
"…a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic…whoever purchased it [i.e., magic] would not have in the Hereafter any share..”
Evil Eye can change destiny! It is mentioned in Sahih Muslim 2188:
“The influence of an evil eye is a fact; if anything would precede the destiny it would be the influence of an evil eye, and when you are asked to take bath (as a cure) from the influence of an evil eye, you should take bath.”
