Adverse Drug Event (ADE) is any unfavorable event or incident associated with the use of a medication, at any dose, resulted in an adverse outcome in a patient.
Definitions include:
"Any untoward medical occurrence in a patient or clinical investigation subject administered a pharmaceutical product and which does not necessarily have to have a causal relationship with this treatment."
"Any unfavorable or unintended sign, symptom, or disease temporally associated with the use of any dose of a medicinal product, whether or not considered related to the medicinal product".
