4000 year ago, there was colossal change on Douluo Continent which is the native Soul Land Continent, home to only just two empires—Heaven Duo and Star Luo in the past, but now has been split into three Kingdoms: Star Luo, Heavenly Soul and Spirit Duo, collided with a mass of land so-called Sun Moon Continent. Upon the collision, it resulted in the expansion of land mass and population and that also bred new competition and later led to conflict between the native empires (Star Luo, Heavenly Soul and Spirit Dou) and the newly attached Sun Moon Continent. As the war broke out, the three native empires dispatched the allied troops to fight against their common enemy, Sun Moon Continent.

The war lasted about 20 years, the native empires managed to seize victory, but failed to invade the Sun Moon Continent completely and only Sun Moon Empire, replacing Sun Moon Continent, left on Douluo Continent. This case looks like the Collapse of Soviet Union in 1991 and Russia inherited everything of her legacy since then.

Despite the defeat, the situation of the three native empires and natural advantages of Sun Moon Empire enables it to stabilize itself to stand against the three native empires. The hostile and antagonistic sentiment and distrust rooting deep down among them exhort them to go to war annually.

Therefore, there are four Kingdoms in this novels namely-Sun Moon, Star Luo, Heavenly Soul and Spirit Duo. And this is the situation on the current Douluo Continent.

The contents of this page will start with something which is constantly unchanging through the novel in order to avoid from being repetitive and confusing. This approach will allow us enjoy the journey more holistically than specifically. Some special exceptions might be applied if necessary.
