Some memories of last 5th of August in Noia, Galicia, where I had the honor to share stage with the wonderful Elisabeth Cerra during Noia Harp Fest. We had the pleasure of paying tribute to the wonderful harpist Nicanor Zabaleta together with Alba Barreiro_arpista.
Thank you to the festival, AEDA Asociación Española de Arpistas , and Susana Cermeño Arpista for the organisation and support during this beautiful event. Thank you also to Rodrigo Romani for sending this amazing pictures.

After nearly a third of my life, it was time to move out of Salzburg to start a new life in Malmö, Sweden.
I can’t explain how grateful I feel about the people I had around me for the past 8 years. Thank you to everyone who was part of my journey, and a bigger THANK YOU to the ones who are still part of it.
Even though I will live somewhere else, it is not the time to say goodbye. Thanks to .valparaiso I will visit this beautiful town often o be able to continue with the Postgraduate studies at . (Besides, my Salzburg family still needs me🫶🏻)

El sábado día 5 de noviembre, la orquesta Andrés de Egiguren, dirigida por Pedro Palacín, ofrecerá un concierto en el Teatro Coliseo, como homenaje al músico y compositor Aita Madina, de cuyo fallecimiento se cumplen 50 años. En dicho concierto se llevará a cabo el ESTRENO MUNDIAL de Concerto for harp and orchestra, obra compuesta en 1953 durante la estancia de Madina en Salta, Argentina, donde estuvo destinado por su orden religiosa Canónigos Regulares Lateranenses, y dedicada a su gran amigo Nicanor Zabaleta, arpista donostiarra de gran reconocimiento mundial.
Tras el fallecimiento del autor en 1972, y la posterior recopilación de su obra diseminada entre Argentina (Salta y Buenos Aires) y New York, el archivero Xabier Ugarte (alma mater del largo proceso de catalogación) comprobó la existencia de Concerto for harp and orchestra, obra sin estrenar. De esta última, solo existía guión piano-arpa, por lo que no estaba orquestado ni revisada la parte solista, trabajo realizado por Pedro Palacín y Claudia Besné Villanueva respectivamente.
Concerto for harp and orchestra, es un concierto optimista, con mucha vitalidad, pleno de entusiasmo y frescura, que hace constantes guiños a temas y motivos de su Euskadi natal, que nunca olvidaba.
Actuará como solista Claudia Besné Villanueva, joven arpista con gran proyección, natural de Donostia. Actualmente realiza su Máster en Interpretación en Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria, con profesor Stephen Fitzpatrick, tras ganar en 2020 la prestigiosa beca Nicanor Zabaleta que otorga la Diputación de Gipuzkoa.
Completará el concierto la Sinfonía K 550 en sol menor de Mozart, primera versión. El concierto se celebrará el sábado 5 de Noviembre a las 19:00h en el Teatro Coliseo.
