If you have an assortment of bowls and deep plates in a variety of sizes and glazes. How you gonna plate them? Open to ideas ✨😊
TERRA tableware, displayed in an open cabinet, showcases its unique texture and reddish dark stoneware. The exposed dark reddish-brown clay evokes the heat, sun, and laterite soil of the equator. This interplay with earthy tones celebrates the beauty of the soil.
A month ago, I received an invitation to showcase the TERRA tableware installation, together with my AMPHORA vessels and new kitchenware collection, at . It was my first exhibition in my home-based city, Stockholm. What a precious experience it was! I had the pleasure of meeting many other talented and like-minded individuals and engaging in conversations with diverse people. I was also flattered by all the feedback on my work. It’s important to me to stay true to my beliefs in design and craftsmanship.

Three months ago, I received a custom request from the Hulu TV series “The Bear” and I shipped out the order to Chicago within three weeks. Now, the upcoming season’s official trailer is out! Not only did I spot the amazing tableware from , but I also saw my AMPHORA vase and Candle Plate featured in a scene, custom-made for the show. It’s thrilling to see my work on screen, and I can’t wait to see more of what’s ahead at Carmy’s Michelin-star restaurant. Will he set up a romantic candlelit dinner with Claire? The new season premieres on June 27th. ✨
The unpredictable nature of the final result is part of what makes pottery so fascinating. Potters never know exactly how their pieces will look after firing. The moment when they open the kiln is always exciting, as they discover how their work has been transformed. 🤎

At the Stockholm Creative Edition last week, my table installation—Scandinavian Renaissance—whispered tales of the 16th century. Inspired by still life paintings, it wove a tapestry of light and shadow, blending old silverware with new ceramic pieces. In this dance of contrasts, the echoes of a bygone era came alive, blossoming in the heart of a Scandinavian spring. Each detail was a connection to the past, breathing life into history.
It’s truly fulfilling to see your ideas take shape from clay to the final work, especially when they’re crafted by hand. However, nothing can compare to the incredibly rewarding experience of seeing your work presented in an old heritage gas company building during independent design week, created by . It was truly satisfying. ✨
Some moments captured by .sawsonov during a 4-day design exhibition . What a great design event to meet lots of creative and like-minded people. Thanks for inviting me to be part of it. I’m so honored to have the opportunity to bring my ideas and concepts to life. It was a great experience and I’m so happy to hear so much positive feedback about it. I want to say thank you to all of you who came by to say hi to me, talk to me, give me feedback, and encourage me. All your words mean a lot to me and motivate me to keep going. Hopefully, I’ll see you soon in different ways. 😊
Tomorrow at the Stockholm Creative Edition we will be launching an exciting new kitchenware collection. It will be available for online purchase shortly after the event. Milan Design Week. What an experience! A huge thanks to for inviting me to join them in the beautiful Villa Borsani by .milano. Meeting so many cool and creative people has been inspiring, and since many of you have started following me here, I wanted to introduce myself. I’m Andrea, the fashion designer turned ceramicist behind Studio ANDREA TSANG. Tired of the grind in the fashion industry, I left it behind to pursue something more meaningful – getting my hands dirty with the most basic of materials, clay. I work out of my Stockholm studio, where I explore timeless shapes and designs inspired by the East Asian pottery tradition combined with a functionalist Scandinavian philosophy. The first exciting news is that I will be showcasing my work, after rebranding, for the first time using my name, ANDREA TSANG at Milan Design Week this year. I will be exhibiting alongside , a contemporary furniture brand also based in Stockholm. Together, we will showcase our work at .milano. Save the date! And if you happen to be there, come say hi to us too!
For the past three years, delving into pottery has been my way of uncovering who I really am. Each piece I create reveals a bit more about me, unveiling layers of creativity and understanding I never knew I had. Working with clay and the wheel has been therapeutic, helping me connect with my true self and appreciate every little flaw along the way. I began my pottery journey in the dynamic city of Shanghai in 2020 and moved to the tranquil vistas of Stockholm in 2021. Over the last year, amidst personal changes, I’ve been discovering even more about what it means to be authentic and embrace my uniqueness. That’s why I’ve decided to rebrand as ANDREA TSANG—a new name that fits me just right.

Yours truly,
