Why were you inspired by Agatha Christie for your new collection? “From 10 and up I was a book worm and a serious Agatha Christie murder mystery reader. The world's bestselling female author, outsold only by Shakespeare and the Bible and she was the first British female surfer. Talk about pioneering woman! /, founder and creative director
Here are Cassandra ‘s personal favourites from the collection:
1. The houndstooth puffer jacket, I wanted it for myself and made it in adult size too. Sweden is cold, this puffer will keep me warm and I will match with my 9 yo daughter.
2. Mini Rodini Society socks goes up to my size, love them.
3. The Society bag, roomy and lightweight. I have been product testing it all summer, it’s perfect and I use it every single day.
4. The mega fluffy baby faux fur overall makes me want a baby.
5. The faux fur hat. Just extremely cute and warm. And it’s made from recycled polyester, of course.

Each year 600 000 metric tons of fishing nets end up in the ocean trapping dolphins, seals and fishes that meet a slow painful death. The nets drift with strong currents and destroy coral reefs. To collect these ghost nets and recycle them is one action towards a more sustainable future!

Mini Rodini was created in 2006 by the illustrator and artist Cassandra Rhodin as a tribute to all children, their imagination and sense that everything is possible. Since then the brand has become known for its unique prints, great quality, and dedication to sustainability. The playful patterns are inspired by everything from wild life and pop culture, as well as the fantasy and free spirit of children. Creativity has always been a key focus.
However, the beating heart is the brand’s pioneering ethical spirit and production line. Cassandra’s personal dedication to sustainability, dislike for grownups stereotyping kids, beliefs in fair working conditions for everyone, and concern for the environment is woven into the DNA of the brand.
As a result Mini Rodini carries one of the most sustainable ranges on the market with collections made up of over 99% sustainable materials. The brand has long been recognized as a thought leader in sustainable fashion, with 2018 seeing the company achieving leader status within sustainability by the Fair Wear Foundation.
Today Mini Rodini is one of Scandinavia’s fastest growing brands for children with a loyal fan base of customers all over the world.
