First batch of clutch arms are off to anodising!

Billet clutch actuation lever that fits BMW R-series (1980-1995) and offers increased strength and stiffness in comparison to OEM.

The lever is shortened by 8.5mm to increase the lever ratio, thereby allowing for a quicker, more responsive and direct clutch actuation. (No more cut and shut!)

The shorter length also offers clearance to the frame for those who have done swing arm conversions and have had to push their engine over.

Seat mounts for Tillett racing seat to fit with stock chassis mount pattern (M8, 410mm C-C).

Jonas  has made several design iterations to establish the best range of seat positions for this particular application.

We've made a start batch of 4 kits, and I'm pleased to hear that Islandworks already sold out!

One year has just passed since I diversified my design consultancy to offer advanced manufacturing services in Sweden. 

It's been a great learning curve so far and I'm as eager as ever to further build on where I am today and evolve my entrepreneurial endeavour!

This particular project has been a challenge to fit in the machine, literally exhausting all the 5-axis tricks in the book, but I'm well pleased with the result. What do you think?

Oil filter housing baked together with a thermostat, bypass valve and oil distribution manifold with o-ring sealed ports.

This manifold will be directly attached to a dry sump tank.

Manufacturing of adapter kits for fitting BMW S1000RR USD forks to the K or R series BMW airhead has come to a closure.

Available for both 4 stud (Y-spoke) and 5 stud (Snowflake) wheels.

These wheel adopter kits can also be used with RnineT forks in combination with 212mm triple clamp assembly!

Shiny new LANG-workholding!  

When the 5-axis arrived I browsed around for the best workholding solution. Of course price was important, but more so reliability and repeatability. My choice fell on LANG (although slightly biased from the start as it was the recommended workholding from previous employers, Renault and Mercedes F1).

I started off buying the 0-205mm mouth, 125wide Makrogrip vice, and I can't blame it! Yes, it's quite a porky vice for small parts, but I've always managed to work around it.
To mount the vice I opted for the round 96mm quick-point and a home made 50mm riser.

To allow for future modularity I've now upgraded to a 2-fold quick point. 

The DIY aluminium riser has long been the bottleneck in terms of workholding stiffness, so it's now been replaced with a proper LANG riser with integrated Quick point. 

I'm super stoked to start using it all!

Starting a machine shop from the ground up has been a very tricky and demanding affair, but seeing your designs become reality or helping customers achieve their vision is extremely rewarding.

When you think you're on a high, reality kicks in and puts you back on the firm ground. Being forced to deal with a costly and unexpected breakdown has definitely scarred me, but failure will not be an option. I'll leave this painful week behind and focus all my attention on the future.

Designed by Jonas and with minor guidance to improve manufacturing efficiency and allow multiple parts to be made in one operation.

We've made 2 engine sets with different port designs, stock and ported. 

These runners will be married to a GT3 inspired carbon fiber intake and a drive by wire throttle body.

This is a timing belt idler bracket we designed for Rickard Thomsson's 8 valve Turbo Racing 2000+hp drag racer, it's positioned on the tension side (with minor radial belt engagement) to reduce the tendency of belt shake.

The intake manifolds we manufactured last week will be used on an AGCO SISU diesel engine. However, converted to run on methanol!🤯🤯🤯

Custom front engine cover for the engine, designed by Ben for his compressor charged café racer project.

The front cover features integrated alternator, port for engine speed hall effect sensor and a mounting lug for the compressor drive and idler pully.

Mounting brackets for Fueltech's racing CDI ignition coils.

Located just above the plugs to minimise the length of the HT leads and remote from the ignition module to prevent interference.

The mountings will be used on Rickard Thomsson's 8 valve Turbo Racing 4 banger, 8 valve drag racer based on volvo B230 engine architecture currently generating 1600hp at 4,8bar. Rickard is aiming for in excess of 2000hp in the 2021 season.

These brackets are designed to match up with the hole pattern and shape of the stock valve cover.
