WATER SHUT OFF!! 💧 The Water Distribution and Collections Department will implement the following water shut-offs:
💧 An immediate water shut-off on the 100 block of Myrtle will occur due to an emergency water leak. Water will be turned on once the leak is repaired.
💧 A "test kill" will be performed on Chiles Street beginning at 9am, today, Monday, July 22. This test will take approximately 30 minutes.

POOL CLOSED The Lee Pen Park Pool will be closed on Sunday, July 21, for maintenance. It will reopen on Tuesday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m.
ROAD CLOSURE!! 🚧 Beginning Monday, July 22, contractors for Ellis County will be replacing air conditioning units on the roof of the Ellis County Jail. As a result, the intersection of S. Jackson Street and E. Madison Street will be closed to all traffic until the work is completed.

Another major General Fund Capital Project was the completion of Fire Station #4 in August 2023. This new facility provides greater coverage for our growing community, especially to the west and south. As always, Public Safety is a top priority for our City leaders, and the addition of this station was essential to ensure adequate coverage and decreased response times.
