For weeks rumblings have been heard, deep in the concrete jungle his name have been spoken only in hushed whispers. Now finally we are ready to release the news that Jan SPANARN Edin have rejoined Fornicators! (que tumbleweeds)

Spanarn left the band in 2012 after some creative differences and have (allegedly) spent the past 12 years practicing and perfecting a style of self-focused karma sutra yoga. Live online courses can be found at onlyfans every Wednesday at 8.

For you guys that have been following Fornicators for a while Spanarn needs no introduction. for the other 99% Spanarn is the co-founder of the band and started Fornicators along with Tim in 2001. His distinctive and energetic lead guitar can be heard on all singles and albums up to and including At your Cervix.

The overarching goal of all this is to get a strong line up together and start playing live gigs for all of you again. There is the possibility of a new single as well but for now we are focusing on relearning the older songs, some of which haven’t been played for 12 years or more.

We are still in need of a drummer and will start spamming the internet and local music stores with ads. So spread the word!

This morning news reached us that a good friend of the band and a fellow gitarrist Claes "Clabbe" Fredriksson sadly passed away. Fornicators met Clabbe during the early years when Fornicators was starting out playing in Stockholm. Clabbe was the lead guitarrist in the band Mansic who was seen as veterans on the Stockholm scene with several international tours under the belt. Clabbe was always friendly and funny and a great guitarrist who always gave a helping hand when needed.

The scene will never be the same and Clabbe will surley be missed.

What does Ted Bundy, Ed Gein and Jeffrey Dahmer have in common?
Except the obvious fact that they are all dead, killed a lot of innocent people, more importantly none of them have ever been the lead singer of Fornicators!

The voice of fornication has always and will always be that of Tim Hysén. Perhaps not as sane or with as good eating habits as the gentlemen previously mentioned. Tim have always (so far) chosen to direct his anger towards the microphone or channeling his inner chaos into the lyrics he writes.

As a lead singer, a great guitarist of mediocre skills (bassists’ opinion), professional touring fluffer and now a father. Tim have chosen the life of no fame and no fortune as he found out that with great responsibilities comes even less power.

Today the rest of Fornicators wish to celebrate him on his birthday. Tim have now reached another steppingstone towards that famous moonshine bar for freeloaders in the sky.

Even though we passed the point of no return years ago, we hope that Tim will continue to be our pulsating headache and nagging tone of tinnitus for many years to come!

Just a short story about something that unfortunately goes on behind closed doors and behind the keyboards each day, and the reasons are as many as there are people walking on this troubled circle.

Paying homage to Motley Crue’s “home sweet home” by playing a deconstructed piano version both in the beginning and at the end of this song.

Today the never ending story about the man who came from the bottom of the sea (or so the tale goes) crawled up on the beaches of the east of Sweden, covered in fish dropping and god knows what else continues. It was just on this day many moons ago the creature named Hampus no longer were a creature from the sea but a creature of the land. In celebration of “he who now walks” we ask you all to lift your cups and bra’s and join us to wish Hampus a really really decent birthday!

So we started out recording this record in May 2021, and we are so very happy to tell you that the record is finally finished!
16 songs that is all that we represent, with a flirt of other genres than punk rock as well, plenty of guest artists and a album that we can proudly name just what it is ‘Fornicators’, a record that we think define us and we can definitely say you haven’t heard anything like it and we are very very excited to share it with you as soon as possible.

We are at the moment looking for a label that can manufacture and distribute this gem.

Just a quick little treat!
We noticed this weekend that we actually forgot to put out our single “the attractive revolution” on digital platforms. It was recorded and released as a physical cd in 2008 but since we work very very slow it’s now available on Spotify etc…just 14 years later.
