On Wednesday 21st of September, the Secretary General for the Nordic Karate Federation, Sarah Wennerström, accompanied by Javier Escalante, visited the Embassy of Iceland in Stockholm. Purpose of the visit was to facilitate collaboration between Nordic countries regarding the growth of Karate in the Reykjavik International Games, the largest multisport-event in the Nordic region with participants in different sports from approx. 40 countries. For Karate to be showcased in multisport events, with broad media coverage, is a sure way to strengthen our sport.
