With DOBEL® F105 we set out to replace older manufacturing methods with new, more efficient techniques. These changes result in the reduction of lead-times, buying-stages and have a significant effect on lowering the cost.

Honeycomb structures are widely used for their lightness and strength. They are often delivered with blank aluminium sheets, onto which the decorative layer is applied at a later stage.

DOBEL® F105 replaces the need for the application of a separate decorative layer reducing costs and production time and the weight all at the same time.

Say hello to Carl-johan Ternström, or "Calle" as he prefers to be called. Calle is Metalcolour Sweden's new Production Manager and has both a considerable knowledge and many years experience as an engineer.
Amongst other areas of expertise he has a background working with Water Jet Cutting, where he developed new machines, helped customers calculate investments and worked as a project manager.
"I hadn't heard about Metalcolour before, but became immediately interested when I discovered more about the company," says Calle.
Metalcolour's CEO Ingemar Forsberg is very pleased with the recruitment.
“Not only is Calle a very likeable person, his technical skills will be a great asset to us. I am convinced that he will take good care of our superb production team and help it to develop further in the future. We are very happy that he chose to work with us.

Metalcolour Nykøbing – where it all started back in 1973

It has been 50 years since the first steps were taken at the factory in Nykøping to what is Metalcolour Denmark today. Much has changed, some things are still the same. From being a manufacturer of pre-painted metal for decorative applications only, today Technical Coating products account for almost 80 percent of the production. And, the demand is continuously increasing. We had a chat with Jakob Søndergaard Nielsen, Plant Director at the Nykøbing plant in southern Denmark.
