This journey started a little more than five years ago. We wanted to challenge, test new ways and make products. Products that make you go out, out on adventures.
We chose to name the journey Norra (the north in Swedish) and it has been a direction that has made us pass many exciting places. But some people thought it was too crowded in that North direction and we have come to the conclusion that it is best to change our name. Besides that, we have realized that you miss a lot of things when you constantly look to the north. Now we let everyone else on that path to the north continue by themselves and we choose to look around instead. There are so many exciting places and adventures to experience out there. It doesn’t matter how or in what way you do it, as long as you get out there. “Hike your own hike” simply put.
We will continue to challenge, test and innovate. But instead of walking in a straight direction to the north, will we now be on an unknown direction where the adventure is the goal. So join us on our continued journey, it will Vindla(meander in english) its way forward.

We are happy to let you know that we are making progress in the socks project!
In the previous update we asked for your color preference and that gave us a clear directions to aim for a tonal color way.
As mentioned befor our intention with this sock is to make it extremely versatile, just like most of our products, but we also want to make this one lightweight. One of those socks you can wear in summer without a problem and during any activity, slow pace to high pace. Read the full updated, link in bio 😃
As always our starting point is to make a really good products but in this case we figure we also could make use of something that is way too often left behind.
This is probably nothing new to anyone but the textile industry keeps on over producing things and especially fabrics. In an ever faster changing world where a strange desire to exchange clothes have unfortunately become a norm, fabric often gets over produced. Even the really good qualities get overproduced. The good thing when your are a smaller company with some good contacts is that you can get your hands on some of the very best fabrics.
We have found some really nice, super lightweight and stretchy fabrics from South Korea that we will use in this project.
We envision this pack to be, just as our view on the outdoors, multifaceted. Multifaceted in a lightweight way.
- Only want the bare minimum from your pack, strip it down to its bare essentials.
- Are you a user who likes to attach gear to your pack or compress it in a certain way? just optimise it the way you like.
- Like touring during winter and needing to be able to throw your skis at it, go ahead.
- Micro adjust the carrying system for your body, or not the only user? Lend it to a friend and adjust it so it sits comfortable on that person too.
- Could it even become a system where you could modify it to suit your specific needs?
This is Hugo, a real good friend of ours and an extremely talented designer. A while back we had the great fortune get his help for a few month. Great work was done but we also got to spend some nice time outside.
Here is he rocking the Björk merino sweater.
Our studio is located in Nynäshamn and one of our favorite outdoor activities is surfing. We have a couple of spots just around the corner, even on a bike distance from the studio. We surf all year around but the fall often comes with some great storms and this year has not been any different.
I think that from here on out will we adopt the famous Patagonia employee benefit strategy: Let my people go surfing. 🏄
