Washington D.C. - United States President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden extended Eid greetings to Muslims in the US and around the world.
The message was conveyed through a statement released by the White House on Sunday night (1/5), the day before the Eid al-Fitr holiday in the US.
They say that apart from marking the end of the month of Ramadan, Eid is also a time for Muslims to remember those less fortunate.
"This year, as we commemorate Eid al-Fitr, we also remember the millions of homeless and refugees around the world who live this holy day separated from their families and unsure of their future, but still hope for a brighter tomorrow."
