Earlier in September and October, Preschool Market collaborated with Capitaland to conduct the Magical Fairyhouse Lamp Workshop at Lot One Shoppers’ Mall. Parents and children came together for a day of bonding, creativity, fun and making their very own fairyhouse lamps. From cozy cottages to mystical treehouses, the possibilities were as boundless as the depths of their imaginations. Guided by the Preschool Market team, parents and children buckled down to bring their creations to life.

The simplicity of the crafting process made it accessible and enjoyable for participants of all ages. Attendees quickly learned the craft, discovering that creating fairyhouses was not only fun but also easy. They also found the process of crafting their fairyhouse lamps very therapeutic

As part of the Early Childhood Celebrations & Conference 2023, during the SSDB Partner’s Appreciation segment, Preschool Market was awarded the SSDB partners award presented by Ms Sun Xueling, Minister of State, Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and Mr Tan Chee Wee, Chief Executive of the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).

During the Early Childhood Celebrations & Conference (ECCC) held on October 27th, Minister Masagos revealed changes to the annual closure days for preschools. These days are dedicated periods to prioritize the well-being and professional growth of educators.

He also introduced the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) for 2023 and revealed plans for the creation of a Quality Teaching Tool (QTT) designed to assist educators in enhancing their methods for fostering the all-encompassing development of children.
