Season Parking Waiver for Private Bus Season
Parking Holders extended until 30 November 2021
Private bus (including coach) season parking holders at all Government-owned car parks will continue to have their season parking fees waived for an additional two months, from 1 October 2021 until 30 November 2021. This is the fourth extension of the season parking waiver, which was first announced as part of a multi-agency effort to support the private bus industry impacted by COVID-191. The waiver will help defray some of the operating costs faced by private bus owners parking at all
HDB, URA, JTC, MOE, and SportSG car parks.

New updates!
Dear Members,
Message from LTA
LTA has informed that bus stops are provided primarily for public buses. Private bus operators/owners or organisations should conduct passenger activities at the Pick-up/Drop-off (“PUDO”) facility, if available. If PUDO facility is not available, private bus operators/owners or organisation who wish to use a bus stop for passenger activities must seek the LTA’s approval before using the bus stop for passenger activities. Where capacity allows, private buses may be allowed to use the bus stops.
Having said that, the 20 bus stops listed in the table below are heavily utilised, especially during the peak hours. Hence, LTA is unable to allow private buses to use these 20 bus stops in order not to impede the public bus operations and the traffic flow.

New announcement
Dear SSPHBOA Member,
Message from LTA
LTA has informed that a new pick-up/drop-off (“PUDO”) point outside Choa Chu Kang Mrt Station will be in operation from 11am, 1 Jul 2021 (Thursday). The new PUDO point can accommodate large private buses. It is within 60 metres’ walking distance to the Choa Chu Kang Mrt Station and is accessible to vehicles via Choa Chu Kang Loop from Choa Chu Kang Drive.
In addition, LTA noted from ground observations that private buses are conducting passenger activities at the pair of heavily utilised bus stops outside Choa Chu Kang Mrt Station along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4 (BS 44531/9). This has impeded the public bus operations and traffic flow. As such, LTA will take enforcement action if private buses are found stopping at the mentioned pair of bus stops outside Choa Chu Kang Mrt Station to pick-up or set-down passengers.
All members pleased conduct boarding and alighting activities at the new PUDO point outside Choa Chu Kang Mrt Station from 1 Jul 2021 (11am onwards).
For more details pls contact 6741 0788
