This high-quality French Collin-Mezin violin was built in the mid 20th century in the Collin-Mézin atelier in Mirecourt.

Its strong, warm sound is bright and radiant in the upper ranges and has a wonderful resonance to it. We recommend it for soloists and demanding musicians.

*SOLD* Antique German violin c.1910

The instrument is a very good quality handmade instrument of the turn of the century around 1910 in the Markneukirchen/Klingenthal area in Germany. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back of flamed maple.

The bright sound is warm and open and a bit mellow.

Antique Bohemian Violin - CA1890

A nice antique Bohemian violin built around 1890 as a very appealing and tonally successful Guarneri copy.

The antiqued varnish is a beautiful bright orange-brown varnish over a lighter ground.

German Master Maker Hornsteiner violin circa 1920.

This professional fine violin made by Adolf Hornsteiner in Mittenwald, the elegant style of its perfectly crafted, deeply carved scroll reflects the violin’s heritage. The inlaid purfling is very delicately applied and is clearly the work of a talented violin maker.

This Master Violin voice is powerful, strong, mature, clear and deep.

This attractive Italian Violin labelled Giuseppe Pedrazzini Milano 1914.
It is in excellent playing condition and sounds beautiful.

The sound leans slightly to the darker side with strong character. The overtones are evident which make the tone warm and appealing.

This violin was made in Markneukirchen around 1940.

The violin has a One piece back of medium-flamed maple. The front is two pieces of medium-grained spruce which widens towards the flanks. The varnish is a warm brown colour laid over a lighter golden ground. The violin is modelled after the instruments of Stradivari and the length of back is 360 mm.
