Happy World Communications Day 2023! Pope Francis asks us to speak with truth in gentleness and love. Do you do that with your family at home? Or with your friends? Pope Francis says, " May the Lord Jesus, the pure Word poured out from the heart of the Father, help us to make our communication clear, open and heartfelt. "May the Lord Jesus, the Word made flesh, help us listen to the beating of hearts, to rediscover ourselves as brothers and sisters, and to disarm the hostility that divides. "May the Lord Jesus, the Word of truth and love, help us speak the truth in charity, so that we may feel like protectors of one another." Let's start communicating with truth and love from now!

[𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱, 𝟵 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮] Hi Little Faith Steppers 👋 Today, we celebrate and remember when Jesus was baptised in the river Jordan by St John the Baptist. When He was baptised, the Trinity was present! Those are the three persons of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in one Godhead. Isn't that amazing? After Jesus came out of the water, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in the shape of a dove. 🕊️ There was something else too - a voice came from heaven, saying, "You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you." 😍 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝟭 - Ask your parents what your own baptism was like. Just like Jesus', the Trinity came to rest in your heart. Just like Jesus', heaven was opened to you and you became the adopted child of God. Just like how Jesus prayed after his baptism, you should continue to pray too. 😍 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 2 - St John the Baptist got his name from... well, baptising people.🙂 After he preached, when people became very sorry about their sins, he baptised them in water as a symbol for them to be washed clean again. Joseph and Mary made a long, cold and difficult journey👣 from Jerusalem to Bethlehem that would have taken them 7-10 days or even longer.
