I am deeply honored to have been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Citizen Consultative Committee (CCC) for the Kolam Ayer constituency, effective from 1st January 2024. I am grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me. Under the guidance of our Adviser, Dr Wan Rizal, and alongside our dedicated community leaders in the CCC, I will do my best to serve our residents. I will also continue to serve as Chairman of M³@Jalan Besar GRC alongside our esteemed M³ Committee Members. InsyaAllah 🤲.

On 3rd January 2024, the Malay Youth Literary Association (4PM) officially launched for the first time the '4PM Family and Youth Development Fund.’

We have expanded our Family Development initiative to enhance the well-being of underprivileged families with school-going children through our social support programmes. Concurrently, we widened the scope of our Youth Development initiative by enhancing our mentoring and education programmes to support youths in achieving their aspirations. Moreover, we continue to assist the elderly from low-income households

The donations that we hope to raise will enable 4PM to enhance the assistance for our beneficiaries and families through a series of programmes that will run in 2024 under our new Family Development and Youth Development framework, in addition to the primary disbursement to families in the month of Ramadan.

I am deeply grateful for the invaluable lessons in community service that I've learned from Dr Wan Rizal. His guidance and unwavering dedication to the well-being of residents in Kolam Ayer and Jalan Besar GRC have been truly inspiring.

It fills me with pride to see 45 students from the Institute of Technical Education receive the 4PM Bestari Award for their remarkable efforts and achievements. I firmly believe that the educational path of every student at our ITEs is distinctively unique. Alongside our team at 4PM, we are committed to guiding and supporting our youths at the ITEs at every juncture of their journey to fulfill their academic aspirations.

I’m leaving TAA Trust Fund after more than five years with the esteemed organisation. I met Cik Hassan at Geylang Serai Market to share the news. His kind words and prayers deeply moved me. Cik Hassan was among the first TAA beneficiaries I had the privilege to meet in 2018. Formerly a bus driver, he lost much of his eyesight due to an illness, and now earns a living by selling packets of tissue. As I transition into the next phase of my journey, I am wholeheartedly committed to serving our community, especially helping underprivileged families. InsyaAllah 🤲

As a leader, Mr Nassar embodies both passion and compassion, championing youth development, and serve as a source of inspiration for those on this shared path. At M³@Jalan Besar, our partnership with Mr Nassar and his esteemed 4PM team fortifies our commitment to programs designed to support youths from vulnerable families in our GRC. I’m grateful to be entrusted by Adviser Dr Wan Rizal with the responsibility of presenting our M³ strategic plans to the Citizen Consultative Committees at Kolam Ayer, Kampong Glam, Kreta Ayer Kim Seng, and most recently, Whampoa Division. The support we've received from Senior Minister of State Mr Heng Chee How and the Citizen Consultative Committee at Whampoa for our proposed M³@Jalan Besar initiatives in the GRC is truly heartening. A year ago, in July 2022, I had the honor of being appointed Chairman of M³ @ Jalan Besar GRC by Adviser Dr Wan Rizal, following a unanimous vote from our esteemed M³ Committee members. I am truly grateful for the kind support and well wishes conveyed to me during community engagement sessions over the past year.

Under Dr Wan's guidance, M³ @ Jalan Besar has experienced significant growth, forging strong partnerships, establishing key community initiatives, empowering dedicated volunteers, and spearheading projects. Looking ahead, our M³ Committee has enhanced our strategic plans for the upcoming year in the Kolam Ayer, Kampong Glam, Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng, and Whampoa precincts.

Our primary focus will be initiating and leading collective efforts to support the well-being of families, primarily those residing in the 45 rental blocks within Jalan Besar GRC. Together, we aim to make a positive impact and contribute to the progress of our community.

I am deeply grateful for Mr Ameerali Abdeali’s mentorship, which has had a profound impact on my personal and professional growth. I consider myself fortunate to receive his unwavering support in both my studies and community work. His guidance will be instrumental, as I look ahead to the next chapter of my journey at TAA Trust Fund.

I'm filled with a sense of admiration every time I have the privilege of meeting him. His generosity and unwavering support for programs assisting the underprivileged are truly remarkable.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have recently had a session with Encik Abu Bakar Mohd Nor, the esteemed Chairman of M Kapital Holdings. I am deeply grateful for his invaluable advice, which has significantly enhanced my ideas and strategic plans. I’m truly heartened by his unwavering support for my humble aspirations.
