I’m not usually one to look back on the past and reminisce, but while preparing documents and my portfolio recently for my visa, it only just dawned on me how much I’ve actually accomplished and how far I’ve come. I’m always on to the next project, on to the next adventure that beckons, never really staying in one spot for long. But it was nice to indulge in nostalgia for a short moment.

More importantly though, are the connections and relationships with everyone I’ve crossed paths with - whether we are still in each others’ lives or not, I am grateful and I hope we have learned from each other.

2023 was a year of preparation for me - a lot of hard work, lonely late nights, working and building in silence. Looking ahead to 2024, I can’t help but feel like it’s at the point where the rollercoaster is about to lunge forward really, really fast. How exciting! Thank you all for being on this ride with me. Let’s gooooo! 🚀

Finally this year I get to celebrate my brother’s birthday with my family ❤️🥰. Grateful to be back.

I’m in the midst of preparing my portfolio to apply for my Artist Visa in Korea, so I had to dig out some of my old stuff. Found this treasure from 2004 ✨. Singapore Idol was the show that started my entire Entertainment career.

Intensity. This upcoming semester is going to be challenging, both in terms of studies as well as on the music side of things.

But like the reel I reposted a few days ago mentioned, “Discipline is Freedom.” If you’re disciplined, you’re more likely to achieve what you want. And if you’re not disciplined, then then you most certainly won’t.

I’m adopting this mantra moving forward. Let’s f*cking do this.

Hahaha I was super bemused with this headline 😂😂😂 Just to clarify: I actually still have lots of bills and expenses to pay! It’s only with careful planning, hard work, and living within my means, that I’m able to do what I do! And yes, I think this journey is still worth it in spite of all the tough lessons learnt along the way 💪.

When I was younger, fitness felt like a chore, and a lot of times, I abused my body by pushing it too hard, working too long without adequate rest, and oftentimes letting laziness get the better of me.

As I got older though, I began to appreciate being mindful about fitness, not so much from a vanity standpoint, but really more from the point of self-care and mental health. Going to the gym was a way of taming my noisy and chaotic mind, a time for me to work on me, and push myself toward self-improvement.

After all, our body is the only meat-vehicle we will have in this lifetime. There’s a lot more adventures I want to go on, so I need to take care of it so that it can continue to function well.

I’ve taken a break from gym for awhile due to a serious bout of flu as well as school exams, but it’s time to build back better, baby.

I missed 6 days of school this term because I caught a bad case of the flu. Mid-terms are next week and I’m low-key panicking 😂. Just gonna try my best. 화이팅! Let’s go!
