Day 5 🚮📸🎞️ Aaand that’s a wrap for the National Young Leaders Fellowship Induction Week 2024 🙌 The past five days were nothing short of exhilarating - witnessing a room full of passionate and like-minded young people from diverse backgrounds forging friendships for many years to come. They exchanged ideas for projects that we may hear about soon and sat through a lineup of customised panel discussions and learning journeys the Halogen team had prepared for them. This is just the beginning for the 40 Fellows, as they will be embarking on a journey of personal development with the goal of catalysing change in their communities for the next nine months! Upon hearing a volunteer-mate’s recount that has stuck with him still today when working with Mummy Yummy (@mummyyummysingapore), Arshul, a 2022 Fellow decided he wanted to do more for this community. As a young student at that time, he was simply exploring how he could give back - but this unforgettable event was what urged him to embark on a journey of leading others to create change within their communities. During the 9-month fellowship, 30 participants from all kinds of academic backgrounds and walks of life are provided a diverse range of perspectives to widen and challenge their worldviews on society - all with the aim of realising a world made better.
