We always hope to eat a tender steak beside of its succulent and indulging taste.
But, unfortunately, sometimes we take more time just to chew the meat. Its texture might be soft, but the meat can’t be easily broken apart.

So right now, we will give you a simple recipe to make the meat of our lovely steak so much tenderer than before.

This simple recipe is: put some baking soda over both surfaces of the meat, then let it sit for about four hours in the refrigerator.

However, just remember that baking soda could make the taste weird. So, the best thing you can do is still dry-brine the steak (pour salt over both surfaces of meat), let it sit for a while until the salt penetrates the taste and reaches the centre of the meat, or you can use black pepper and garlic powder. After that, you can pour the baking soda over both surfaces, then sit it in the refrigerator, and don’t forget to wash the meat before it’s seared to reduce the weird taste of the baking soda.
