Postnatal recovery is a must! No matter if you had a natural birth or a C-section, your body is bound to experience some degree of damage. Proper postnatal recovery can greatly help ease the tension built up over the past 10 months, addressing issues like wind expulsion, uterine contraction, edema reduction, and stress relief, thereby enhancing overall recovery.
During my pregnancy, I knew that the earlier the urut (massage) starts, the better the results. So, I booked the highly sought-after iBidan 14-day package with belly binding. Right after giving birth, I quickly contacted my bidan to schedule the earliest possible appointment because I couldn’t stand the postpartum swelling.
My favorite part of the package was the hot compress (hot stone therapy) – it was absolutely amazing! Being so tense during my pregnancy, the massage really helped me relax. One thing I love about iBidan is that their bidans are very professional and apply just the right amount of pressure. They also offer breast massages to improve blood circulation, clear milk ducts, and promote milk production. Thanks to this, I never experienced any issues with clogged milk ducts during my breastfeeding period, which even surprised my confinement nanny, as she had seen many moms struggle with this problem.
