We have so many photographs to share of spaces but we never share many of us, the faces and the story behind Hey Montgomery!

👋🏼 I’m Samantha the Founder & Creative Director of Hey Montgomery, and incase you didn’t guess already, we specialise in interior design, styling and customised wallpaper for children. ✨

Montgomery, more widely known as Monty 🧒🏼 is the little sparkle in my life that prompted me to quit my previous design role during maternity leave and start this fun loving design company back in 2020! Whoop! 🤜🏼✨🤛🏼

Monty is an IVF baba, he was the final embryo left after many exhausting rounds and we were told it was being discarded. However, he had other plans! 5 days later, the day after my husband’s Nana passed away we got a special call… the embryologist shared the embryo had somehow made it to a day 6 blastocyst (IVF lingo) and viola it was being frozen!

Fast forward to the shock of my life being pregnant for the first time, to a terrible pregnancy and birth, Monty was born, full of the energy that he is. That energy redirected me to a new path, opened my eyes and gave me the superwoman power to do something I always wanted to do!

And, so…

Hey Montgomery was born! ✨

Big fist pump to my gorgeous ‘down with the kids’ teacher husband Liam, my lovely family and friends and my awesome team of people! 🤍 I am super proud to be on this journey and to interact with so many other awesome women, networks and entrepreneurs along the way! You all rock! 🫶🏼

We customised the bed (OBSESSED), used some existing furniture (let’s not let things go to waste!) and added some new colourful pieces.

The brief was to deliver a fun space to a little man ready for his 4th birthday!

We added splashes of adventure, organisation, new furniture/decor, a window seat reading zone and functional storage!

HELLO TWINS! • BEFORE/AFTER

Twins are on the way and we are pretty excited to show you this beautiful space! Influenced by the jungle and the natural greenery around this home we created a calming space for the babies as well as a space for mama to rest and feed! Our custom wallpaper with is a true showstopper along with the little animal decals hidden throughout! We added some awesome cot’s from Pram Fox which have mesh sides to avoid any head bumps in the future! What’s your favourite part of this space?

PLAYSPACE • BEFORE/AFTER

When families grow it can become a challenge to merge the old with the new. Here we split this combined living/playspace and made it more functional and aesthetically pleasing so the Grandparents and the Grandchildren can co live together! We had so much fun working with Aparna from , she has been helping our client organise and declutter the space prior to our refresh. Decluttering prior to consulting with us helped the space shine so much more. Drop Aparna a message if you are looking for some organisation in your life - she works wonders!
