Once a foodie always a foodie!
Today's food invention in my own kitchen is Savory-Gulab Jamoon a.k.a Rasa-kuzhipaniyaram! Yummy!

Kollu Rasam:
Kollu 1/4 cup
Dry roast it till it get aromatic and start poping.
Add 5 to 6 times the water and pressure cook it for 20 whistles.
Use hand blender to blend the cooked kollu into a think paste.
Use this paste in place of dhall in any Rasam recipe

Kuzhipaniyaram:
Left over dosa better 1 cup
Add grated carrots, chopped onions, coriander, capsicum and chillies.
Use this batter on the kuzhipaniyaram skillet to make crispy kuzhipaniyaram.

Take two kuzhipaniyaram in a bowl and add 3 ladles of hot piping rasam and let it sit for a couple of minutes before you can devour!

JEFF Biryani, Kochi:
โ€œAnything for a Biryani !โ€
It took me a while to find the place but ask any local and they will point you in the direction. The place has limited seating and I had to wait for quite sometime. Decided to go for a takeaway as I could not hold the excitement and that was a wise decision. Walked out in 30mins with a delicious Apricot Mutton Biryani & Bohra Chicken Biryani. Found a quiet spot by the roadside and man AMAZING Biryani ! Excellent taste, absolutely loved it !

Tip: Donโ€™t be discouraged by the waiting time, itโ€™s totally worth it. If itโ€™s too crowded stand in the Takeway queue and grab some asap. Sunday menu has Specials so do as for the specials.

Huge shoutout to Sreejith, the Keralafoodie for recommending the place. Thank you bro, it was AMAZING !!

Are we really too busy to eat well? 22/04/2019

"Meals are no longer taken communally and in unison but are a cacophony of individual collations snatched here and there." It's sad really.. why don't we take the time to relish local delicacies atleast when on a holiday or a weekend by taking a foodies tour.. we definitely aren't too busy to eat well!

Are we really too busy to eat well? Hurried sandwiches and deskbound lunches have become the norm. But real meals are far from a waste of time
