🏔 Today, we're honoured to conduct training for the incredible people of Nepal from the Sherpa tribe. ⛰️

The Sherpas are an indigenous ethnic group from the mountainous regions of Nepal, known for their remarkable resilience, expertise in mountaineering, and deep connection to the Himalayas. As guides and climbers, they've played a crucial role in expeditions to the world's highest peaks, including Mount Everest. It's a privilege to learn from their rich cultural heritage and mountain wisdom. 🏔✨

During my time with trainees in Nepal, they shared their challenges with English pronunciation. Together, we explored several strategies to help them improve:

1. Practice with tongue twisters 🗣️
2. Listen to English podcasts or audiobooks 🎧
3. Mimic native speakers' intonation and rhythm 🗣️🎶
4. Use pronunciation apps or online resources 📱💻
5. Engage in conversational English with peers or language partners 💬🌍

And the most important strategy is: LEARN THE INTERNATIONAL PHONETIC ALPHABET (IPA)
