Kalamanjari’s Amudhe Thamizhe- Bharathidasanar Songds - Soundara Nayaki Vairavan

‘Amudhe Thamizhe’ music album launch - was successful- Thanks to my dutiful team - Priya, the MC for carefully navigating the whole program, Prem for his skillful videography, Vidhu for her miniature displays, Swathi, Nachu and Shanthi in giving an helping hand in the event, Lerlrani for the PowerPoint presentation, teacher Uma Prakash for training the students and SaradwstIyer in conducting the competitions.

Thanks to the GOH Mr Viswa Sadasivan and Mr R Dinakaran, Mr K Kesavapany, the former diplomat l, Dr SP Thinnappan and all the community leaders for attending the event.

Thanks for the overwhelming response to our call for the Bharathidasanar competitions’Amudhe Thamizhe’. Thanks to the Tamil Language and Learning Promotion Committee for their support.

A special mention is must for the judges Ms Sumitra Srinivasan, Ms Barathi Moorthiappan, Ms Alagunila Panchaksharam for accepting Kalamanjari’s request to judge the competitors. Now the winners are announced.

Congratulations to the winners and better luck next time for all the other participants.

Without Ms Saraswathy Iyer’s co-ordination, this would not have been possible to have carried out this mammoth task. Thanks to Ms Saraswathy for always being there for Kalamanjari.

Thanks to the participants, Teachers and Parents for being part of this competition. Kalamanjari is glad in having sparked an interest for Bharathidasanar’s poems and works, among the Singapore Tamil Diaspora.

Kalamanjari believes in giving back to society. The registration fees along with the proceeds from the music album sales ( it is scheduled for June 2nd) go to SINDA’s Let her shine program.

Judges for Kalamanjari’s Music competition 2023 will be from India. Music exponents Smt Meenakshi and Smt Rukmani Sivakumar will judge and give expert feedback for further improvement. Here are their details.



குடந்தை திருமதி ருக்மணி சிவக்குமார்

1. சங்கீத குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தவர். அப்பா, அம்மா, பாட்டி, தாத்தா எல்லோரும் நாம சங்கீர்த்தனம் செய்து வந்தவர்கள்.
2. சிறுவயதிலிருந்தே சங்கீதத்தில் ஈடுபாடு கொண்டவர்.
3. ஹரிகதா காலக்ஷேபம், நாம சங்கீர்த்தனம் என்கின்ற சம்ப்ரதாய பஜனையில் நல்ல அனுபவம் உள்ளவர்.
4. தமிழகம் முழுவதும் மற்றும் டெல்லி, கல்கத்தா, பாம்பே, புனா, பெங்களூர், ஜபல்பூர், ஹைதராபாத், கேரளா, கொச்சின், பாலக்காடு முதலிய முக்கிய நகரங்களில் எல்லாம் நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தி நிறைய பட்டங்களை வாங்கி உள்ளார்.
5. 45 வருடமாக குழந்தைகள் முதல் பெரியவர்கள் வரை வீணை, வாய்ப்பாட்டு, கீபோர்டு, ஹரிகதை, நாமசங்கீர்த்தனம் முதலியவைகளை பயிற்றுவிக்கும் ஆசிரியராக இருந்து வருகிறார்.
6. 25 வருடத்திற்கு மேலாக சென்னை மைலாப்பூரில் உள்ள பாரதீய வித்யா பவன் என்கின்ற நிறுவனத்தில் வீணை இசையை பயிற்றுவிக்கும் ஆசிரியராக இருந்து வருகிறார்.
7. அடிப்படை ராகங்களான 72 மேளகர்த்தா ராகங்களுக்கும் மற்றும் அடிப்படை தாளங்களான 35 தாளங்களுக்கும் அழகு தமிழில் வர்ணம் அமைத்துள்ளார்.
8. சங்கீத இலக்கணமாகத் திகழும் வர்ணங்களை நன்கு கற்றுத் தேர்ந்து பாடக்கூடிய மாணவர்களை ஊக்குவிக்க தாரக மந்திரம் வர்ணமாலிகா டிரஸ்ட் மூலம் போட்டிகள் வைத்து பரிசுகளை வழங்கி வருகிறார்.
9. 200க்கும் மேலாக தமிழில் கீர்த்தனைகள் அமைத்துள்ளா.
10. 72 தாய் ராகங்களும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும் ஜன்ய ராகங்களை துல்லியமாக கணக்கிட்டு ராகக் களஞ்சியம் என்னும் புத்தகத்தை வெளியிட உள்ளார்.
11. சங்கீதத்தில் உள்ள சந்தேகங்களை தெளிவாக அறிந்து கொள்ளவும் சங்கிதத்தை மேன்மேலும் வளர்த்துக் கொள்ளவும் Krits App (குடுந்தை ருக்மணி இசைத்தமிழ் சங்கீதம்) எனும் சங்கீதம் சார்ந்த App-ஐ உருவாக்கி அதன் நிறுவனராக உள்ளார்.
12. எழுதிய வர்ணங்களில் 20க்கும் மேலாக உள்ள வர்ணங்களை மாணவர்களே கேட்டு பாடும் படியாக ஒலி நாடாவாகவும் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.
13. வளரும் கலைஞர்களுக்கு வர்ணபுத்தகமும், ஸெளந்தர்யா ரமேஷ் (மகள்) வீணை இசையில், ராதா வெங்கட் (தங்கை) குரலில் பதிவாகிய ஒலி நாடாவும் உபயோகமாக இருக்கும் என்பதில் எந்த சந்தேகமும் கிடையாது.
14. எல்லோரும் வர்ணங்களில் பயிற்சி பெற்று நல்ல சங்கீதத்தை இவ்வுலகுக்கு அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே ருக்மணி சிவகமாருன் ஆசை.

இசைக் கலைமணி முனைவர் வே.வெ.மீனாட்சி ஜெயக்குமார் இங்கு சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக வருகைத் தந்திருக்கிறார்.

இசைக் கலைமணி, பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் வே.வெ.மீனாட்சி ஜெயக்குமார் அவர்கள் இவர் இராஜா அண்ணாமலை மன்றம், தமிழ் இசைக் கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் ஆவார்.

இவர் பொதுக்கல்வி மட்டுமல்லாது இசைக்கல்வியிலும் தேர்ச்சி பெற்று தன் பெயரின் பின்னால் நிறைய பட்டங்களை வைத்திருப்பவர். இவர் M.Com., M.Sc., (Guidance and Counselling) M.A. (Women Studies) M.Phil., என்ற பொதுக்கல்வித் தகுதியும் M.A.(Bharathanatyam) M.A. Music DMT., B.Ed., Ph.D., NET., SET., தங்கப் பதக்கம் என்று இசைக்கல்வித் தகுதியும் பெற்றிருப்பவர். வீணை வசிப்பதிலும் கை தேர்ந்தவர்.

அகில இந்திய வானொலியில் வாணி சான்றிதழ் பெற்றவர். இசைத் தொடர்பான பல நிகழ்ச்சிகளும் அளித்துள்ளார். ஹிந்தியிலும், சமஸ்கிருதத்திலும் புலமை பெற்ற இவர் இசை. வீணை மட்டுமல்லாது நாடகத்துறையிலும், பத்திரிகைகளில் படைப்புகள் எழுதியும், புத்தகங்கள் வெளியிட்டும் சாதனை புரிந்த பன்முக கலைஞர்

துணைப் பேராசிரியராகவும், விரிவுரையாளர்களும் பகுதிநேர இசையாசிரியாகவும் பணிபுரிந்த அனுபவம் உண்டு. இவர் பள்ளிகள் கல்லூரிகள் மற்றும் பல பல்கலைக் கழகங்களிலும் பாடத்திட்ட தயாரிப்புக்குழுவின் உறுப்பினராகவும் உள்ளார். மேலும் முனைவர் பட்ட ஆராய்ச்சித்துறை இயக்குநர் மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் என்ற கூடுதல் பொறுப்பிலும் உள்ளார்.

தேசிய மற்றும் மாநிலக் கருத்தரங்குகளில் தமிழ் இசை, நடனம், நாடகம் மற்றம் இசை குறித்த ஆராய்ச்சிப்பற்றிய தனது படைப்புகளை ஆணித்தரமாக கருத்துரைத்தவர்.

எழுத்துத் திறமையால் பக்தி மலர்கள் தொகுதி 1.. பக்தி மலர்கள் தொகுதி 2, இசைக் கேள்வி பதில் களஞ்சியம் 1008... மற்றும் இசை நாட்குறிப்பேடு என்ற நான்கு நூல்களும் இவர் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.

நெறியளராக நெறியளராக

இவர் முதுகலை (20) மாணவர்களுக்கு திட்டக்கட்டுரை இருந்துள்ளார். ஆய்வியல் நிறைஞர் 23 மாணவர்களுக்கு இருந்துள்ளார். 6 முனைவர் பட்ட ஆய்வு மாணவர்களுக்கு நெறியளராக இருக்கிறார்.

மேலும் சிறந்த ஆசிரியருக்கான விருது மற்றும் பாரதி சேவை செம்மல் விருது மற்றும் லயன்ஸ் கிளப் வழங்கிய APJ அப்துல்கலாம் விருது பெற்றுள்ளார்.

இது மட்டுமல்லாது யோகக்கலையும் கற்று வைத்திருப்பவர். தனது பன்முகத் திறமையால் சிகரத்தைத் தொட்ட இந்த சாதனைப் பெண்பமணி நம் கண்களுக்கு கம்பீரமாகத் திகழ்கிறார் என்பதில் சிறிதும் ஐயமில்லை.
