Dear cherished patrons and friends of Le Matin Patisserie,

As we reflect on our journey from the humble beginnings of our patisserie during the pandemic to the vibrant and beloved establishment we are today, we are filled with immense gratitude for each and every one of you who has been a part of our story. Our last day in ION Orchard will be on 29 February and we will be fulfilling the rest of our online orders for the month of February.

From our inception, we have strived to uphold the values of creativity and excellence in everything we do. As the trailblazers who first introduced pastry boxes, we curated a selection of pastries that brought joy to our customers’ doorsteps with every bite. Our mission to redefine pastry and desserts has been driven by a passion for artisanal craftsmanship and a commitment to delighting your senses with every bite.

Throughout our time in business, we have experienced moments of joy, triumph, and recognition, such as being awarded the prestigious title of "Best Cake of 2023” by The Straits Times and earning 3 spoons (highest accolade) for the Museum of Ice Cream’s Sweet Spot Awards and having Chef Matin as part of the Gen T list by Tatler. These milestones would not have been possible without your unwavering support and appreciation for our culinary creations.

Beyond serving food, we have cherished the opportunity to connect with our community and customers on a deeper level, sharing our latest creations and seasonal offerings with enthusiasm and warmth.

While our journey has been filled with countless memorable moments, we have come to a pivotal juncture where we feel compelled to embark on a new chapter. After much reflection and consideration, we have made the decision to bid farewell to Le Matin Patisserie in its current form.

This decision does not come lightly, but we believe it is necessary for us to reset, regroup, and explore new directions that will allow us to continue pushing the boundaries of culinary innovation and creativity.

To our loyal supporters and patrons, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, friendship, and patronage over the years. Your enthusiasm and encouragement have fuelled our passion and inspired us to strive for excellence every day.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our esteemed corporate partners who have supported us throughout our journey. Your collaboration, encouragement, and shared vision have been instrumental in our success, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with you.

As we bid farewell to Le Matin Patisserie in its current form, we embrace the dawn of a new chapter with optimism and excitement. This moment of transition, much like the fresh promise of morning, symbolises our commitment to renewal and exploration. We look forward to the journey ahead and the opportunities it holds for further culinary innovation and collaboration.

December ended with a bang as we partnered with The Flying Dutchman for their 21st Anniversary celebration! ✨ Our exquisite pastries and desserts were a highlight of the event, delighting guests with every bite.

It was an honor to collaborate with such a renowned event planner and contribute to their special occasion. Seeing guests savor our creations and the fantastic feedback we received truly made it all worthwhile!

Congratulations again to The Flying Dutchman on their 21st anniversary! We wish them continued success and many more years of creating unforgettable events.

Celebrate the public holiday with a glass of wine and some pastries!

Introducing our white wines; Domaine de la Sénéchalière La Bohème (2020) and Christian Moreau Chablis (2021).

Domaine de la Sénéchalière La Bohème (2020) -
is a white grape variety that is grown primarily in the Loire Valley of France. Known for its high acidity, minerality, and citrus flavors, this Melon de Bourgogne wine has an aroma of citrus fruits, green apple, pear, white flowers, and sea salt.

Christian Moreau Chablis (2021) -
is a type of white wine from the Burgundy region of France. It is made from Chardonnay grapes, which are grown in the Kimmeridgian limestone soils of the Chablis region. Chablis wines are known for their high acidity, minerality, and citrus flavors. Chablis wines have aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, pear, white flowers, and chalk.

Laminated Brioche Lobster Roll:
Flaky Brioche Feuilletée filled with a tartar of Canadian lobster meat, baby fennel, and lobster fat aioli. Topped with a medium rare lobster tail glazed with kombu oil and finished with locally sourced succulents.

Summer Truffle Scrambled Eggs Croissant:
Warm flaky croissant burger filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, drizzled with our homemade truffle paste infused with preserved truffles and finished with 8g of freshly sliced Summer Truffles on top.

The dish is elegantly finished with a drizzle of tangy sea buckthorn sauce and a delicate swirl of bee pollen, adding the perfect touch of sweetness and visual artistry.
