Gentle reminder to myself and my students are we approach the 50% and 20% mark in life respectively.🚀🚀🚀 It’s just begun.

I share with them that they have a choice.

To enjoy life from 13-30, without any goals and purpose. Only to struggle from 30-80. To lead the “NPC”(non playable character) lifestyle as coined by SK.

Or to struggle now from 13-30, so that they can then lead their dream life from 30-80.

I wish that they develop more courage, so that they can be more self-aware. Don’t give a # # about outside validation and explore the question,

“What do u want to be paid for?”

and also to find purpose in their passion.

I’m also at a point in my life that helping a student get A for math is not enough. I believe that this generation can BE a lot more, and not simply be defined by grades.

I’m passionate about how I can come up with a process to help children, understand their values and discover their passion so that we can make the world a better place.

If anyone can point me to any resources, would be greatly appreciated.

Let pay the price so that we can be worthy of the prize.

I love equations!

Came across this while I was listening to n ‘S podcast.

Immediately resonated coz in recent months I have been feeling pain/discontent but never really took time to confront and reflect it. And always lamenting the lack of progress.

Guess it’s time to sit my ass down and reflect and come with some goals and action plan to end 2022 strong!

I think I like this equation style thingy, as it makes concepts easy to understand. Will try teaching students more in this manner too. 😂
