Team Ting Lam, Vanessa and Ayas explained their farm design using permaculture principles for a flat land and integration of zoning concept. Participants of this training were given the tasks to apply what they have learned to real life scenario. It is amazing that Vanessa has started sketching her garden design and Ting Lam shared pictures of his farm and some potential partnership with TBR. While Mohd. Ayas, TBR's apprentice has learned so much on the practical aspect of permaculture and confidently explained his team's design, especially on using the 'key hole' planting pattern! Bravo team! We are proud of you!

7th October - Introduction to Permaculture. For Day 1, our focus was on Climate Change and Climate Action, Permaculture Ethics and Principles, and Zoning. The eight participants were very engaging and a few had some experiences with sustainable living, including permaculture practices for farming. Among them were a couple from India. All together thirteen people were on site, including the trainers and TBR's new team member, Aa Hup. A few that registered that could not make contacted us. Two came on Monday to ask us to run training at their organization as they missed the weekend training. Participants also came out with very interesting designs for three different land areas and demonstrated good application on what they have learned.
