*Technical Consultative Meeting on Establishment of an Interactive Web Based Platform on Youth Employment*
Today, 18th July, the Ministry of Youth Affairs (MoYA) held the above meeting at the Hub.
The meeting focused on the development of a web and mobile application that can serve as a youth and employer interface.
The ODC was invited as a key player in the industry and a major driver of digitalisation in the country.

Orange Foundation Sierra Leone and GIZ continues the Fundamental ICT Training for shortlisted applicants in Freetown.
Location is Khub, at 18 Dundas Street, Freetown.
The dates are the 8th, 9th and 10th of July. At 9 - 11 am, 12 - 2 pm, and 3 - 5 pm.

The Digital School Kits are not just learning tools but gateways to exploration and creativity.

OSLF has made it its mission to unlock every woman's potential and create impact in their respective communities by bringing digitalisation at their doorstep.
As we continue to expand our reach, we gather momentum with the women in Kenema (South) and Makeni (North) to officially launch the Women's Digital Center and certify our 1st cohorts.
We at Orange SL are truly excited with this launch and looking forward to opening more centers around SL.
With excitement and enthusiasm, Orange SL, through its Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation, kicked off the donation of The Digital School Kits for 2024.
This heartfelt contribution was made to the dedicated staff and enthusiastic pupils of Kailahun District Education Committee Primary School in Kangama and Roman Catholic Primary School Koindu, respectively, with 18 more schools to go.
Today's event truly proves OSL's commitment to equip young learners with the tools needed to succeed, taking their education to the next level.

DONATION OF FOOD ITEMS TO KROO BAY COMMUNITY
In response to the fire incident that occurred at the Kroo Bay Community on the 31st of October 2023, a team from Orange Foundation conducted an emergency Needs Assessment with support from the Disaster Management Department of the Freetown City Council(FCC) to determine how many households were affected and the support the victims would need.
Today, 19th January 2024, Orange Foundation donated 45 bags of rice, 20 five gallon jugs of oil and 50 cartons of tin tomatoes to the victims. The donation was done in the presence of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Freetown, the Chief of Kroo Bay and other community stakeholders.
