“A dream is a picture of possibility but we should have a strong heart and a prepared mind to turn that into reality”.

I go by my maiden’s name Lachaeveh Yeama Jamestina Caizarine Dumbuya.
A would be qualifying year student from the Mass Communication Department, University of Makeni.

Potraying the traits of an ambitious,energetic,determined,goal getter,smart and organized individual, prompts me to live by the credo “those who pursue their dreams would emerge victorious”.

Enjoying the privilege of a dual citizenship (Half Ghanaian/Half Sierra Leonean) I have lived to witness pageantry as fun but charismatic challenge, subsequently it blossomed as a passion and will be watered till it becomes a career I can fully embark on.
I epitomize myself as a young lady, who adores entertainment and embraces a fanatical interest in relations to pageantry.
I do believe that my gift and talent buried deep within will flourish for the purpose of serving and uplifting others.

When the eye of the sky and its shinning beads lurk in the dusk and shimmer Freetown on December 26, 2001, the Nightingale cry of a bouncing baby girl serenaded Edward Lane, Brookfields Community. Born by a Ghanian mother and Sierra Leonean father, Lachaeveh Caizarine Jamestina Dumbuya brought happiness into the lives of this humble family. The stepping feet of her educational journey started in 2003 at King Herman Preparatory School, and later enrolled in Life of Light Preparatory, New England Ville, Freetown where she showcased her intelligence by attaining one of the best results during her NPSE. Subsequently, she received her junior secondary school education in 2014 at the renowned Beacon High School, Freetown. Enjoying the privilege of a dual citizenship, she moved, in 2017, to continue her schooling in Ghana at Supreme College International, Kumasi. While there, she was spiritedly involved in series of competitions such as Debating, Cooking, Dancing, and writing competitions. In 2018, she graced the halls of Christian Service University to pursue an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies. Never wanting to rest on her laurels, this bubbly young lady switched this course to online in order for her to simultaneously pursue another course in Sierra Leone. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Makeni studying an honors degree in Mass Communication.

Portraying the traits of an ambitious, committed, hardworking, confident, determined, and helpful leader, Lachaeveh Caizarine Jamestina Dumbuya believes every gift and talent is created within each person for the purpose of serving and uplifting others. Formerly the head of Association of International Students Committee, an association that aims at advocating and providing support to students coming from outside Ghana, Jamestina Lachaeveh has parlayed that experience into a dynamic career as an activist, debater, model, speaker, and an entertainer.

Having served the position of the Head of Entertainment at the Christian Service University, her developing entertainment career parallels, and fuels her drive to nurture the desires in the heart of others and birth them into greater possibilities. Currently, she is working with a BBC media practitioner to open a foundation that seeks to help the less fortunate at the University of Makeni.
No stranger to the entertainment industry, Lachaeveh has participated in many facet of entertainment competitions both in Sierra Leone and in Ghana: as a debater, writer, and pageant. In 2014, she represented the Beacon High School and won the National Essay Competition in Sierra Leone. In 2017-2018, she won another national writing competition in Ghana. She was also the winner of MISS PROJECT 2019, a regional pageantry competition held in Kumasi, Ghana. Currently, she is the champion of the Charles Mansaray Debating Competition at the University of Makeni.

Finally, lives by the credo, "those who believe in the beauty of their dreams have a bright future," and attributing her hard work ethic and self-esteem with a mixture of both her Ghanian and Sierra Leonean upbringing, Lachaeveh epitomizes a girly girl who adores entertainment and embraces a fanatical interest in pageantry, having participated in local and regional pageants competitions in Sierra Leone and Ghana.
