Digital Health Concern Sierra Leone Ltd. is a registered non-profit company with the vision to have an improved health system that embraces digital health, innovation, research in health, appropriate and extensive health education and promotion mechanism with the ultimate aim of achieving the best health outcomes and to work towards the Global Health Security Agenda in a bid to prevent avoidable catastrophes, detect threats earlier and to respond to many health related issues and as well working towards the already adoption of the new professional imperative: ONE HEALTH for all. Also, our mission is to add values to our healthcare system and to people’s lives in order to nurture imagination, promote sustainable health system and to enrich communities. Our goal is to make our healthcare system accessible and structured by blending health and technology that will reduce the tension in our dying health system. Our target as a company is to promote the health system through a digital approach. This company is geared towards improving a health system through technology that allows institutions and people to unleash the incredible promise of digital health that will transform our healthcare system from the brink of nothingness to absolute reality that will deliver effectively and efficiently with support from the Ministry of Health and Sanitation and other health partners or institutions. The competition is geared towards allowing students to unleash their research and innovative skills that will help to complement the effort of the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in a bid to solve some of the health problems or issues in the country.
We are pleased to announce that Digital Health Concern Sierra Leone Limited will stage the first ever National Digital Health Summit and Intervarsity Digital Health Competition which will take place in Freetown, at the Marine Time Hall on the 25th and 26th of November, 2021. The theme for this program is "Bridging healthcare with innovative digital systems for improved and sustainable healthcare delivery in Sierra Leone’’.

To conduct research and empirical investigations that will inform health policy reform;
To stage intervarsity health competition that will foster unity and build young minds to represent the country at international level;
Convey key stakeholders and actors in the health sector and other sectors to a dialogue to inform the formulation and implementation of robust health policies and regulations;
To strengthen health education and promotion mechanism in order to facilitate behavioural modification, and the adoption of hygienic practices to prevent diseases.
