The Egyptian government has granted a full scholarship to the best student in the 2020 Secondary School Leaving Examinations who appealed for support last year.
According to the Egyptian Counsellor in Juba, Ahmed El bakery, Joseph Obwony will travel to Egypt next week on Monday.
The Egyptian diplomat told Eye Radio on Thursday that Obwony will study medicine at Ein Shamis University in Cairo.

Japan donates $9 million to fight hunger in South Sudan
Japan government has donated a total of $9 million to United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to help fight hunger in South Sudan.
In a tweet, WFP welcomes the donation.
"WFP welcomes two contributions totalling ≈US$9 million by the Government of Japan.
This contribution comes at a time when hunger deepens in and it will help support up to 300,000 people this year" WFP tweet reads.
According to WFP report, South Sudan has more than 7.74 million people severely food insecure, including around 1.3 million children and 683,000 pregnant and lactating women who are expected to be malnourished this year.
