July 16 is really a terrible day for Rock and Roll. We have lost a number of the greats on this day.
12 years ago, one of the founding members of Deep Purple, Jon Lord left us. He was 71 years old.
Jon was one of the first to put his Hammond Organ through Marshall amplifiers and by doing so created his signature sound.
As you know, we have to ask. What is your favorite song Jon did with Deep Purple?
