Container beautifully packed onto pallets and shrink wrapped; packed full of vital aid, food, clothing and other aid relief unloaded in C.H.U.G.S. Main Unloading and Sorting Depot.

InshahaAllah this aid relief will be organised into packs and distributed to the most needy or used to support the C.H.U G.S. Ramadan kitchens that are fast approaching.

Food packs distributed to widow and orphan, poor and internally displaced refugee families; i.d.p.s (internally displaced persons) having fled bombardment and siege areas including Aleppo, Ghoutta, Hama, Homs, surrounding areas of Idlib and other places.

Idlib City Update:

Families left to rebuild their lives.
Families traumatised by death and injuries of loved ones
Families living in Fear.

IDLIB CITY UPDATE:

Huge explosion yesterday evening collapsed the face of an apartment block with widespread street damage, killing and injuring many. C.H.U.G.S. Search & Rescue services were out, working alongside other Search & Rescue Services taking the injured to hospital.

It was reported by a White Helmets main coordinator that it was a car-bomb, which left a huge crater in the middle of the street. Other reports suggests a cruise missile.

Hundreds of families were affected. The media of the aftermath speaks for itself.

These are an all too familiar site across Syria.

First Besieged Aleppo and now Besieged Ghoutta and many other places. Expelling besieged men women, babies, children and the elderly from what was their life and homes via so called Safety Corridors to Regime and Rebel Held areas, each with its own inherent problems.

Maybe they will end up in refugee camps, living in tents like the millions of internally and externally displaced refugees living within and the surrounding border areas of SYRIA.

A Container packed full of food packs items, clothes, hygiene and medical aid was unloaded in C.H.U.G.S. Unloading and Sorting Depot. This aid will be organised and distributed to the most needy. The current crisis includes Ghoutta families that have escaped horrendous circumstances towards an uncertain future.

Container of oil and container of lentils arrived and unloaded in CHUGS depot. These vital food pack items will be added to food packs and distributed to the most needy beneficiaries including widow & orphan families, disabled and poor internally displaced refugee families.

Container arrived on 12 Feb 2018 packed full of vital food packs items.

It is reported that 100,000 internally displaced families have fled the recent bombardment of areas like Min Sinjar, Saraqeb, Abu Dhuhoor and Maraat Numan.

C.H.U.G.S. has been and continues to distribute emergency aid relief to thousands of internally displaced refugee and poor families.

2 Small Girls Looking for Food in a Bin because they were Hungry!

C.H.U.G.S. Emergency IDP Response

2 small girls were rummaging in a bin because they were hungry. The bins here are filthy. Because of the situation only the worst is discarded as garbage. Rotten food remains, used nappies and rat infested garbage.

These 2 girls and non of their siblings had jackets, they were unkempt and wearing flip flops in this cold and wet weather. These families had escaped from Murat Numaan from from the heavy airstrikes, including 11 children with little more than the clothes on their backs.

It is reported that up to 100,000 internally displaced families have fled from areas like Min Sinjar, Abu Dhuhoor and Saraqeb from the heavy bombardment from the regime and its allies.

2 goodie bags were given to these girls but one of the girls was crying and scared. She was scared that she was in trouble for searching for food in a bin. We reassured her that she has no need to be scared. C.H.U.G.S. is here to help.

C.H.U.G.S. carried out a home assessment and supported these, like many other thousands of internally displaced and poor families with the aid relief that C.H.U.G.S. procures or receives from kind and generous donors.

The C.H.U.G.S. team was able to distribute vital aid including food packs, clothes, jackets, wellies, blankets, coal, hygiene packs, sweets and children's gifts to these refugee families because of the aid relief that you the kind donors send.

Big Thank you to all C.H.U.G.S. donors for helping the internally displaced refugee, vulnerable and poor families in the heart of the crisis that is Syria.

C.H.U.G.S. Emergency Response

3 Internally displaced families, including 13 children fled from the heavy airstrikes in Maraat Numaan to Idlib city 15 days ago. These families fled for their lives. Non of the children had jackets and some were wearing sandals and some of the children weren't even wearing socks.

We later found out that 2 of the men who were working in the market were injured in yesterdays car bomb that exploded in the middle of the crowded market place, reportedly killing 7 and injuring many. One of the men was severely injured but discharged from hospital and was resting at the flat. The other was critical and remains in hospital.

These internally displaced refugee families were staying at a family friends flat for no rent. However the flat was in a poor state of repair with plumbing and other issues.

C.H.U.G.S. assisted these families with whatever aid relief we had at our disposal including:

3 hygiene packs
Goodie bags from Stand4Syria
Jackets from jackets4Sham (Shoebox4Syria)
Kids winter clothes from IHR
Girls hoodies from Anaya Aid donated by Holland
Women's clothing
Men's clothing
Blankets
2 bags of coal

Idlib Update:

Early morning and airstrikes can be heard, distant rumbling of airstrikes devastating Saraqeb.

Update from C.H.U.G.S. Search & Rescue team from last nights airstrikes in idlib city include the death of at least 4 families in a collapsed apartment building and many injuries.

The mood in Idlib city is sombre, school has been cancelled for today and people advised to take a day from work.

Idlib Update: Airstrikes in Idlib City

From 9.15pm multiple airstrikes hit Idlib city. 2 airstrikes hit 2 areas next to masjids and at least 2 other airstrikes failed to explode. Latest update, in one location an apartment block collapsed killing 4 families.

Rumbling can also be heard in the distance, and cb radio reports multiple jets over Idlib and its surrounding areas and multiple airstrikes in idlib city and Saraqeb.

Idlib Update: Mass Panic in Idlib City and its surrounding areas

Thousands upon thousands of refugee families are fleeing Saraqeb after heavy bombardment of airstrikes day and night. The Regime and its allies are advancing and there is widespread panic amongst the civilian population of Idlib. It is estimated that idlib plays host to a population of over 2 million people, many internally displaced refugees, but it has been suggested that the number is closer to 4 million.

When questioned about airstrikes in Idlib city, it was suggested by one of C.H.U.G.S. Syrian depot workers, that airstrikes in Idlib could happen at anytime. The regime and its allies are not known to be shy with their airstrikes. Buildings collapsing on top of the heads of babies, women and children. The C.H.U.G.S. Search & Rescue work is not a distant memory.

For updating about the situation in Gaza..
First of all, alhamdulilah for everything.

The situation in Gaza is the worst situation since more than 40 years. It is worst than after the war on Gaza in 2014.

A lot of shops for good traders were closed since they have no money to continue their work.

Gaza has a general strike today and yesterday.

The economic situation is very very bad.
The employment is more than 60 %.
Most of the youth have no work.
The employees have salaries every 40 to 50 days.
The salary is about 300 - 400$ which is not enough for 10 days to live.
Moreover, some families pay about 200 $ for renting a flat.

The families are starving the rest of days.
Some families asked their children to absent from schools because they do not have money for them.
Wallahi.. Some families have no bread to eat.

The families are shy for asking for assistance from others.

Alhamdulilah... the situation is very hard but the people are patients. Since Allah is doing everything good.

Please... please
Share with brothers and sisters to collect some money to make some food packs for the poor people.
