IF YOU ARE A SMALL-SCALE FARMER, JOIN ESAFF ESWATINI.
ESAFF ESWATINI is a membership based small scale farmers' organization, whose vision is that of being a strong and effective forum of empowered small-scale farmers with united voices in the policy processes for ecological agriculture practice and a poverty free Eswatini.
We do that through empowering small scale farmers to influence development policies and promote ecological agriculture agriculture through capacity strengthening, farmer led research, campaigns and networking. The idea is to migrate small-scale farmers from subsistence to commercial scale to address food security and create job opportunities. Small scale farmers in 2017 met and identified 11 challenges hindering their migration. These are land, water, finance, market, training, climate change, unfriendly regulations, GMO proliferation, no link with value, poor tractor hiring services and unequal treatment. such challenges need unity and they are the reason why ESAFF Eswatini exists, and needs every small scale farmer to join.
