The university had a special place in the Adeleke family, as it was where Davido’s mother used to teach before she dîed back in 2003. Over the years, Adeleke Sr. invested over ₦200 million into this establishment, so when he approached the university administration with a request to open a new department, they had no other choice but to comply.

I have called you this afternoon to bring to your notice some unbecoming and vexatious attitude in the public space that is, unfortunately dragging some media houses along. Some political hirelings, buccaneers indulging in menial work of character assassination have lately been let loose dubiously ostensibly to soil the name of our Presidential candidate, Peter Obi. At the forefront of these malicious hatchet jobbers, is Dr Abayomi Arambabi, who dubiously continues even to identify himself as a member and Publicity Secretary of Labour Party when he knows he is not a member of the party.
After a series of judgments from the Supreme Court of Nigeria concerning the Labour Party, everything about fictionalization and crisis in the party was laid to rest.
But to our greatest shock in the party, many media houses continued to link expelled non-members of the party as members trying unsuccessfully and needlessly to create a wrong impression about the party.

Chief Lamidi Apapa and Arambabi have been going about merchandising with the name of the party and endlessly castigating our flag bearer who we are proud to say is the most popular and loved Nigerian politician today.

Gentlemen of the press, as they go about using the name of the party, none of them has said anything positive about Peter Obi as their Presidential candidate of the party they claim that speaks in vulumes.

Instead, they have even been more vociferous against Peter Obi than their sponsors yet they claim they are of the Labour Party. Is it not time the media houses blacklist them for wearing the devil’s coat and speaking on the saint’s platform. None of them or their family members voted for Peter Obi. Is it not yet time they leave him alone and look for another thing to say?

Peter Obi in his capacity as the Labour Party standard bearer, had a press conference and innocuously advised the embattled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to rest the certificate gate around him and save the country further embarrassment by reintroducing himself and putting records straight. A simple patriotic advisory that was informed by belief in anything that is connected to National development, but their hirelings, freebooters, and lawless adventurers prefer to insult our candidate with his fabrications.
In one of his pieces of fiction, they claimed that Obi was impersonating his dead most senior brother, a farce, a slapstick comedy from hell. Obi’s most senior brother is alive, one of his senior brothers who died was in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN years ahead of Obi and read Computer SCIENCE while Obi read Philosophy.

Arambabi also claims as his shadow chases him that Obi is after his life. This is a laughable allegation because OBI’s harmless disposition to politics and his non-violent posture even in extreme provocation like the blatant stealing of his mandate in cohort with INEC is apparent to make the dismissal of such wild and unsubstantiated accusation baseless.

Gentlemen of the press, I can appreciate the frustration of somebody hired ostensibly to do a menial job against somebody and after sweeping around the whole place unable to find anything, he decides to indulge in concoctions to keep his pecuniary interest alive.

As Obi keeps charging people to go ahead and verify his past, a Peter Obi 45 years ago was impromptuly unveiled last weekend by no less a person than the Pope’s Ambassador (Papal Nuncio) to the Czech Republic, a Nigerian, Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo. Speaking off the cuff, the revered clergy testified to how the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, has remained consistent in caring for society for many decades now, stating that it is in Peter Obi’s nature to help and care for those around him.

SHUN YOUR PLAN OF RELEASING TINUBU’S DOCUMENTS TO THE PUBLIC--- GROUP URGES FBI

The Progressives Youth Wing of the APC has called on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to shun the plan of releasing Tinubu’s records available to them, stating that Tinubu should be respected and protected as a public figure, alarming that Nigeria may suffer more international disgrace should the FBI releases it reports on Tinubu in their database. The group fears the consequences Tinubu’s documents in the FBI database might lead to, just as the academic records of Tinubu released recently by the Chicago State University.

The decision of the FBI to release Tinubu's documents
was borne out of the need to comply with a freedom of information request first filed last year by Nigerian journalist, David Hundeyin, in collaboration with some anti-corruption agencies in the US.

The Secret Service claimed to have over 2,500 documents relating to Tinubu in its database, which it planned to release in batches starting late October this year.

Nigerians will soon be treated to the true account of Chief Bola Tinubu’s sojourn in the United States, following a decision by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to release information about him in its database.

Earlier today, we witnessed a momentous event at the School of Nursing Sciences, Bishop Shanahan Hospital Nzukka, Enugu State.
has redeemed the N50m balance of the N100m pledge he made to the school of nursing and also pledged another N50m and redeemed N20m also. It was a remarkable sight to see students swimming over the ex-governor in awe of his commitment to the school and education in general..

The school of nursing sciences has been a beneficiary of the ex-governor's benevolence and the event was a testament to his commitment to the development of education.

The students applauded him and thanked him for inspiring them with his commitment to the development of their school and humanity.

The pressure is getting intense for Tinubu even if he’s not saying it.

The FBI is currently scanning his criminal records and will release the first 500 documents in October.

The Supreme Court is faced with bundles of appeal documents to rule on.

Issues Of Concern Ahead Of PEPC Judgement Tomorrow.

It hasbecome necessary for the Labour Party to draw the attention of the public and indeed democratic watchers to some unfolding developments in the country ahead of tomorrow’s ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC.

The unguarded statement from the former Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Justice Mary Odili in Abuja last week at a colloquium to mark the 25th anniversary of the elevation of a renowned jurist, JK Gadzama to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, and the boasting of some persons, serving Ministers and notable legislators about the outcome has left our party in shock.

When those who should know the importance of the sanctity of the judiciary descend to the arena of abusing it with their preemptive utterances just to show loyalty and support to their interests, we as a party see this as unfortunate and dangerous to our democratic journey as a nation.

We note also the needless lavish showering of praises on the legal counsels of both APC and Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the retired Justice when the gathering was not theirs. We find this extremely undignified of a renowned jurist who rose to the peak of her career in the country’s Apex court and who as the Chairperson of the body of benchers, should be at the forefront of defending the virtuousness of the courts.

Also curious to every discerning mind watching the unfolding events in Nigeria since the February 25th Presidential election is the fact that the PEPC that refused live television coverage of the hearings of the petition, and is now anxious to have the conclusion beamed live.

What is it that has happened between the hearing period and the delivery of the judgment that the live coverage which they claimed was a policy issue changed suddenly at the delivery point?
We are aware of the efforts of the agents of the States to orchestrate problems and blame them on the political opposition. We wish to emphasize that it is the right of the people in a democracy to demonstrate and the obligation of state security agents to protect the demonstrators and those not demonstrating.

Meanwhile, we implore Nigerians to remain calm and peaceful, abide by the rule of law, and understand that this matter has not reached its logical and final conclusion.

Our concern as a critical stakeholder in Nigeria’s project especially the democratic evolution is that what is being destroyed with all these clever by half playing on people’s intelligence is Nigeria as a nation not necessarily an individual.

Anybody who loves this country should appreciate the importance of due process and the rule of law because, without it, this country is going nowhere.

The only reason the Judges have not announced the date is because they are looking for a way not to DISQUALIFY TINUBU as they are under pressure not to DISQUALIFY. However, it is 13 days to the deadline for PEPT to deliver their final judgement, we are seriously monitoring them very closely.
