🇱🇦 Co-organized by UNESCO and the Lao PDR government, the second of the series of ICT Competency Standards for Teachers development workshops took place on 7-9 July 2021 under the “Capacity Development for Education (CapED)” programme. Even with the blended modality of the workshop, relevant stakeholders from the DTE (Department of Teacher Education) MOES, Lao PDR and other relevant departments of the MoES, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, various education agencies, and representatives from schools and teacher education institutions actively discussed and drafted a set of domains, competency standards and performance indicators across three proficiency levels.
Thanks to all of the participants for their commitment and hard work. Susu, and we look forward to seeing you soon at the next national workshop!

🇰🇬 With the support from the Korean Funds-in-Trust, UNESCO conducted the 2nd National Workshop with the Kyrgyz Republic on 14-17 June 2021 to incorporate the national ICT Competency Standards for Teachers (ICT-CST) into the teacher education and training programmes. Through active discussions and engaging activities, representatives from national pre- and in-service teacher training institutions drafted curricula based on the ICT-CST.
