EP1. การขอหนังสือรับรองที่พักอาศัยจากสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองจังหวัดเชียงใหม่

เนื่องจากสามีย้ายมาอยู่เชียงใหม่ จึงต้องการเปิดบัญชีธนาคารและทำใบขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ ในการเปิดบัญชีธนาคารและการขอรับใบอนุญาตขับขี่ของชาวต่างชาติต้องใช้หนังสือรับรองที่พักอาศัยที่ออกจากสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองฉบับจริง โดยไปขอได้จากสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองที่รับผิดชอบในเขตที่ชาวต่างชาติคนนั้นอาศัยอยู่และได้แจ้งที่พัก (ตม.30) ไว้
เราสอบถามจากธนาคารกรุงเทพ สาขาช้างเผือก และสำนักงานขนส่งจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ (งานใบอนุญาตขับขี่)

เอกสารที่ต้องใช้ในการขอหนังสือรับรองที่พักอาศัย สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองจังหวัดเชียงใหม่
1. สำเนาบัตรการรับแจ้งที่พัก ตม.30
2. สำเนาหนังสือเดินทางหน้าแรก (หน้ารูปภาพ)
3. สำเนาหนังสือเดินทางหน้าที่มีตราเดินทางขาเข้าครั้งสุดท้าย
4. สำเนาหนังสือเดินทางหน้าที่มีวีซ่าปัจจุบัน
5. สำเนาหนังสือเดินทางหน้าที่มีตราประทับการอนุญาตให้อยู่ต่อครั้งสุดท้าย
6. รูปถ่ายขนาด 4x6 ซม. จำนวน 1 รูป ต่อการขอหนังสือรับรองที่พักอาศัย 1 ใบ
7. ซองจดหมายพร้อมติดแสตมป์และเขียนที่อยู่สำหรับจัดส่งหนังสือรับรอง

การขอหนังสือรับรองที่พักอาศัยไม่มีค่าธรรมเนียม หลังจากยื่นเอกสารข้อ 1-7 เรียบร้อยแล้ว หนังสือรับรองที่พักอาศัยจะถูกจัดส่งทางไปรษณีย์ภายใน 30 วันทำการ หากต้องการรีบใช้ สามารถติดต่อเอเย่นต์ให้ดำเนินการขอแบบเร่งด่วนได้โดยมีค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มเติม จะใช้เวลาประมาณ 1-2 วันทำการ

EP1. How to obtain a Certificate of Residence at Chiang Mai Immigration Office

My husband moves to Chiang Mai and would like to have a Thai bank account and a motorcycle driving license. For foreigners to open a Thai bank account and to obtain a Thai driving license, he must present an original certificate of residence issued by an immigration office in the area where he is staying and reported address for TM.30.
Information from Bangkok Bank, Chang Phueak branch and Chiang Mai Provincial Land Transport Office (License Bureau).

Required documents to obtain a Certificate of Residence - Chiang Mai Immigration Office
1. Copy of TM.30 receipt
2. Copy of passport first page (photo page)
3. Copy of last arrival stamp page in passport
4. Copy of visa page in passport
5. Copy of last extension page in passport
6. 1 photo size 4x6 cm. (only size)
7. An envelop with paid stamp and address for sending the certificate

There’s no fee to obtain the certificate of residence, it will be sent by Thai Post within 30 working days after submitting 1-7 at Chiang Mai Immigration Office. For urgent use, you can submit the documents via an agency with additional charge and you will receive the certificate within 1-2 working days.

How to register and conditions
1. Travelers must complete the registration form.

- Email to receive the coupon
- Age
- A copy of hotel reservation or voucher in Koh Samui or Koh Phangan, the period of stay must be the same period as your travel date.
- Number of travelers
- Travel date to Koh Samui or Koh Phangan, it will be specific on the coupon.
- Ferry company, choose between Racha Ferry or Seatran Ferry.
- Click for accepting the conditions, review and submit the form.
2. TAT Koh Samui will review your application, then email you the coupon if your application is approved.
3. Travelers must show the coupon picture (with specific number, travel date and ferry company) with Passport or ID Card at the ferry company counter to use the discount. **The discount coupon can only be used for buying the ticket at the pier on the specific travel date.**

The activity's details and conditions are in Thai but foreign tourists are able to register to receive the coupon also, a Thai friend can help you translate it or feel free to message me if you're interested!

2. ททท. เกาะสมุยจะดำเนินการตรวจสอบข้อมูลหากครบถ้วนและถูกต้องจะดำเนินการส่งคูปองกลับทางอีเมลที่ระบุในวันถัดไป

เราและสามีตัดสินใจที่จะอยู่ประเทศไทยหลังจากแต่งงานกัน เราจึงเลือกให้สามีขอวีซ่าเข้าไทยในฐานะคู่สมรสของคนไทย โดยวีซ่าประเภท Non-Immigration Visa หมวด O (Others) สำหรับ Non-Thai Spouse of a Thai Citizen ที่เลือกวีซ่าประเภทนี้ เพราะง่ายต่อการขอขยายระยะเวลาอยู่ต่อแบบ 1 ปี สำหรับชาวต่างชาติที่มีภรรยาไทย ตอนนี้เรายังไม่ถึงกำหนดที่จะขอขยายระยะเวลาอยู่ต่อของสามีได้ หลังจากดำเนินการเสร็จเรียบร้อยแล้ว เราจะมาอัพเดทอีกโพสต์นึงนะคะ

My husband and I have decided to live in Thailand after marriage, we chose to apply for Non-Immigration Visa category “O” (Others) for him as a spouse of a Thai citizen because it will be easier for him to get 1 year extension when he is in Thailand. We’ve planned to get the extension in April, I’ll create another post after we complete with all the process.

We traveled from the Netherlands, hence the information we have is mainly extracted from the website of Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague https://hague.thaiembassy.org/

: Purpose 2 - to provide or receive support from the person whose nationality is Thai or the alien who has been granted and has taken up permanent residence in Thailand as the parents, spouse or child under patronage and being a part of the household of the said person.
: No. Of Entry - Single
: Duration of Stay - 90 days
: Visa Fee - 70 EUR.

3. Proof of relationship with Thai nationals, such as A copy of Marriage Certificate/Birth Certificate
4. A bank statement with adequate funds for your stay in Thailand: ending balance minimum 20,000 Baht or in equivalent foreign currency
5. Health Insurance that covers a minimum of 100,000 USD of medical costs incurred by the applicant in Thailand, including medical costs in the event that applicant contracts COVID-19 (The insurance must cover the total duration of stay in Thailand).
Step 2 (After Step 1 is approved)
6. An evidence of travel in of Thailand, i.e. flight ticket
7. A confirmed reservation for 14-day-quarantine with ASQ/ALQ/AHQ
**I’d suggest to submit COE application at least 5 working days before departure.**

EP.4 การเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยในฐานะนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ

หลังจากได้รับข้อความ inbox สอบถามเข้ามาหลายข้อความในกรณีคล้ายๆ กัน คือ มีเพื่อนหรือแฟนชาวต่างชาติต้องการเดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทย ณ ขณะนี้ สามารถทำได้หรือไม่ คำตอบคือ ได้ค่ะ ประเทศไทยเปิดรับนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติแล้ว โดยต้องปฏิบัติตามเงื่อนไขที่ทางรัฐวางไว้ เราตัดสินใจทำ EP.4 นี้ขึ้นมาเพื่อแบ่งปันข้อมูลที่เราได้ค้นหารวบรวมมาก่อนหน้านี้และข้อมูลอัพเดทเพิ่มเติม ณ วันที่ 11 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564 เราหาข้อมูลไว้เป็นทางเลือกให้สามีในการเดินทางเข้าไทยในฐานะนักท่องเที่ยวตั้งแต่ก่อนที่จะแต่งงานกัน เมื่อแต่งงานแล้วทำให้เค้าสามารถเดินทางเข้าไทยโดยวีซ่าประเภท Non-Immigration O แบบ Non-Thai Spouse of a Thai Citizen คู่สมรสของคนไทย เราจะอธิบายรายละเอียดของวีซ่าประเภทนี้อีกโพสต์นึง แยกเป็น EP.5 นะคะ เพราะมีคนสอบถามเข้ามาน้อยกว่าการเข้าไทยแบบนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ

นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติสามารถเลือกที่จะเดินทางเข้าไทยได้จาก 1 ใน 3 ทางเลือกนี้ค่ะ
1. การยกเว้นการตรวจลงตรา (Visa Exemption) ไม่ต้องขอวีซ่า สามารถอยู่ในประเทศไทยได้ไม่เกิน 45 วัน (มีผลถึง 30 กันยายน 2564) หรือมากกว่า ขึ้นอยู่กับประเทศของหนังสือเดินทาง ขอขยายระยะเวลาอยู่ต่อได้ 1 ครั้ง ไม่เกิน 30 วัน ค่าธรรมเนียมการขออยู่ต่อ 1,900 บาท และสามารถเปลี่ยนประเภทวีซ่าเป็น Non-Immigration ในประเทศไทยได้
*Visa on arrival ถูกระงับเป็นการชั่วคราว ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม - 31 มีนาคม 2564*

2. วีซ่าท่องเที่ยว (Tourist Visa - TR) แบบเดินทางเข้าไทยได้ 1 ครั้ง สามารถอยู่ในประเทศไทยได้ไม่เกิน 60 วัน ขอขยายระยะเวลาอยู่ต่อได้ 1 ครั้ง ไม่เกิน 30 วัน ค่าธรรมเนียมการขออยู่ต่อ 1,900 บาท และสามารถเปลี่ยนประเภทวีซ่าเป็น Non-Immigration ในประเทศไทยได้
*วีซ่าท่องเที่ยวแบบเดินทางเข้าไทยได้หลายครั้ง ขณะนี้ถูกระงับเป็นการชั่วคราว*
3. วีซ่าท่องเที่ยวประเภทพิเศษ (Special Tourist Visa - STV) ใช้เดินทางเข้าไทยได้ 1 ครั้ง สามารถอยู่ในประเทศไทยได้ไม่เกิน 90 วัน ขอขยายระยะเวลาอยู่ต่อได้ 2 ครั้ง ครั้งละไม่เกิน 90 วัน (ไม่เกิน 30 กันยายน 2564) ค่าธรรมเนียมการขออยู่ต่อครั้งละ 2,000 บาท แต่ไม่สามารถเปลี่ยนประเภทวีซ่าในประเทศไทยได้

เงื่อนไขหลักๆ สำหรับการเดินทางเข้าไทยของนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติในช่วงโควิด 19 ได้แก่
1. มี Certificate of Entry (COE)
2. มีผลการตรวจ COVID-19 แบบ RT-PCR ซึ่งเป็นลบและใบรับรองแพทย์ Fit-to-Fly ที่ออกก่อนเดินทางไม่เกิน 72 ชั่วโมง
3. มีหลักฐานการมีกรมธรรม์ประกันสุขภาพที่มีวงเงินเอาประกันไม่ต่ำกว่า 100,000 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐหรือเทียบเท่า ซึ่งต้องครอบคลุมค่ารักษาพยาบาล (รวมทั้งกรณี COVID-19) ในไทย ตลอดระยะเวลาที่พำนักในไทย
4. ต้องกักตัว 14 วัน (ระยะเวลาที่ต้องกักตัวจริงๆ คือ 15 คืน 16 วัน) โดยมีเอกสารยืนยันการจองสถานที่กักตัว ได้แก่ Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) หรือ Alternative Local Quarantine (ALQ) หรือ Alternative Hospital Quarantine (AHQ)

หลังจากทราบผลตรวจโควิดครั้งที่ 2 วันนี้ ผลตรวจเป็นลบทั้งสองคน เราเช็คเอ้าท์ได้วันเสาร์ เรียกว่ากักตัว 14 วัน แต่จริงๆ แล้วต้องกักตัว 15 คืน 16 วัน นับ 14 วัน ที่เราอยู่เต็มวันครบ 24 ชั่วโมง วันแรกที่มาถึงโรงแรมจะนับเป็นวันที่ 0 และจะได้รับอนุญาตให้กลับบ้านได้เช้าวันที่ 16 หลังเวลาตี 5 ถ้าผลตรวจโควิดระหว่างเข้าพักทั้ง 2 ครั้ง (บางโรงแรม ตรวจโควิด 3 ครั้ง) เป็นลบค่ะ เราเช็คอิน 22 มกราคม 2564 และจะได้เช็คเอ้าท์ 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564

We’ve received our 2nd test results for Covid-19 today, both are negative and we’re allowed to leave on Saturday. It’s called “14 Day Quarantine” but actually we have to stay for 15 nights and 16 days totally, they count 14 full days that we stay full 24 hours. The first day we arrive is counted as Day 0 and we’re allowed to leave on the 16th day after 05:00 if the 2 corona test results during quarantine are negative (some hotels require 3 tests). We started on January 22, 2021 and will finish on February 6, 2021.

Room Type - Grand Deluxe (30 sq.m.)
Package Price for Main Guest - 32,000 Baht
Package Price for Extra Guest - 25,000 Baht
5% discount for Thai citizens. In case if a Thai citizen stay with a foreigner, foreigner will be charged as the main guest.
We’ve paid 32,000 + (25,000 - 5%) = 55,750 Baht for 2 persons.

Brief Review - Basic, Comfortable, Good value of money.
This hotel reaches our requirements; good size of the room, under our budget of 70,000 Baht , good Wifi connection, menu options that we can choose, providing a microwave and having a balcony that can be used from Day 1.

If you’d like to quarantine here, I’d suggest you making reservation when you’re 100% sure about your plan as full payment is required to confirm your reservation. Payment is available via bank transfer or fill an authorized form for credit card payment. Amendment and cancellation need an appropriate reason and supported documents such as flight changed by the airline, visa refusal or tested positive for Covid-19 before departure.

Delivery service is allowed after Day 7 and 1st test result is negative. The sender must be a related person. Only home-cooked food and food with FDA are allowed. It’s possible to order stuffs with Paragon Chat&Shop and 7-Delivery app. Ordering food from Grab, Food Panda and Line Man is strictly restricted.

We traveled to Thailand with Qatar Airways (Semi-commercial Flight) and paid for Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ).
There’re 2 options for quarantine for Thai citizens; Free State Quarantine or pay for ASQ. If Thai citizens wanna stay in State Quarantine (SQ), they must travel with specific flights announced by Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in each month. There’re limited seats for free SQ in each flight, information is available on page or website of Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country.

เอกสารที่ต้องใช้ในการเดินทางสำหรับคนไทย
1. พาสปอร์ต
2. Certificate of Entry (COE)
3. Fit to Fly Certificate ออกไม่เกิน 72 ชั่วโมงก่อนเดินทาง
4. หลักฐานการจอง ASQ (ถ้ากลับไทยกับไฟลท์ที่สถานทูตจัดและกักตัวกับ State Quarantine ข้อนี้ไม่ต้องใช้นะคะ)

*เอกสารข้อ 2-5 ต้องปริ้นออกมา แบบฟอร์มไหนต้องกรอก ก็กรอกและเซ็นให้เรียบร้อยค่ะ*
**คนไทยเดินทางกลับประเทศไทยไม่ต้องใช้ผลตรวจโควิด แต่หากสายการบินหรือ ASQ ที่เลือกใช้กำหนดให้มีผลตรวจโควิด-19 ก็ต้องมีผลตรวจมาแสดงค่ะ**

หลังจากกักตัวได้ 4-5 วัน บวกกับความ jet lag ทำให้นอนไม่หลับ จึงเกิดเพจนี้ขึ้นมา ตอนแรกสามีอยากให้ตั้งชื่อเพจว่า Easy Sleeper Around the World เพราะเราเป็นคนหลับง่ายมาก หลับได้ทุกที่ (แต่เจอ jet lag ก็แพ้เหมือนกันค่ะ) เราสองคนทำเพจนี้ขึ้นมาเพื่อแชร์ประสบการณ์ของเรา เราจะได้คอยตื่นระหว่างเดินทาง คอยเก็บรายละเอียดมาแชร์ในเพจนี้ เพจนี้จะเป็นการรวบรวมรายละเอียดการเดินทาง โรงแรม ร้านอาหาร สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว รวมถึงข้อมูลวีซ่าจากประสบการณ์ของเรา หากเพื่อนๆ มีคำถามสามารถถามใต้โพสต์หรือ inbox มาได้เลยค่ะ

After 4-5 days of quarantine in a 30 sq.m. room plus jet lag, here this page is created! My husband first wanted to name this page Easy Sleeper Around the World because I’m an easy sleeper, can sleep everywhere (but not with jet lag). We both create this page to share travel experiences, so I’ll stay awake during my trips to collect photos and information. We’ll share details of our trips, hotels, food, restaurants, tourist attractions, and visa information. We’re located in Chiang Mai, come to say Hi if you’re around.
