A massive congratulations to Emily from Grade 12 for taking home the grand prize at the 28th K-Speech World Contest in Laos! 🌏 Competing against 49 participants from around the globe, Emily showcased her exceptional speaking skills and represented Unity Concord International School with pride and excellence. 🎤✨

This prestigious event, organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, highlighted the power of words and the importance of global communication—skills that are nurtured and taught at UCIS to prepare our students for success on the world stage. 🙌

💉 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠! 🩺

We are incredibly proud of two groups of outstanding students from Unity Concord International School who recently completed a one-week medical internship, setting them on the path to becoming tomorrow's healthcare heroes! 🏥

The first group, consisting of Daaim, Kfir, and Shiryu from Grade 12, spent their week at Chiang Mai Ram Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in a clinical setting. Meanwhile, Aaron and Tammy from Grade 11 had the unique opportunity to intern at prestigious institutions including Thammasat University, Ekachai Hospital, Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, and Kasemrad Hospitals, all thanks to the support from the Friends of Asia Foundation.

This internship was not only an incredible learning experience but also a significant milestone in their journey toward a future in medicine. We can't wait to see where their passion and dedication take them next! 🚀

At Unity Concord International School, safety is our top priority! That’s why all new teachers and staff at UCIS, ACIS, and BCIS recently completed a certified First-Aid and CPR/AED training workshop, conducted by the expert team from Bangkok Hospital, Chiang Mai. 🏥

This essential training, organized by AEG Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department, is part of our commitment to professional development as we kick off the 2024/2025 academic year. The certification is valid for 2 years, ensuring that our staff is well-prepared to handle any emergencies that may arise.

👨‍🏫👩‍⚕️ Thank you to Bangkok Hospital for providing this crucial training and helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for our students and community. Let’s work together to make this school year both safe and successful!

Last Friday’s Back to School Night was an absolute success! 🌟 It was so heartwarming to see the joy and excitement on the faces of our students, parents, and staff as we celebrated the start of the 2024-25 school year. From thrilling family entertainment activities to a variety of delicious food, and of course, the breathtaking hot air balloons 🎈—there was something for everyone! Our informational booths on school curriculum, communications, and extracurriculars were also a big hit, helping both current and new families feel right at home in our UCIS community. 🏫💛

Congratulations to Thank, Grade 4, for winning the second runner-up award in the Men's Doubles category (Under 11 years) at the Badminton Super 10 Series 2024 Northern Championship! 🏸✨ Competing at Shin-Sho on August 2-3, Thank showcased incredible skill and determination on the court. 🥈

But the journey doesn't stop here—Thank will proudly represent the northern region in the upcoming national competition on September 7th! 🏆👏 Best of luck, Thank! 💪

This Monday, we were honored to host students from Better Change Private School in KyingTon City, located near the Myanmar border, for a tour at Unity Concord International School. For the further study of students ,the school management arranged this visit to explore options for international schools in Chiang Mai with AEG. On Monday, the AEG International Schools' Thai Culture training for foreign staff took place at UCIS. Educators and staff from UCIS, ACIS, and BCIS attended this essential training as part of their professional development for the 2024-2025 academic year. 🌍✨

The training was coordinated by Ajarn Somkit "La" Buarawong, ACIS School Director, and Mr. Paul Farran, AEG EHS Director. Certificates of Attendance were awarded to all participants, marking their dedication to understanding and embracing Thai culture. 🎤🏫
