“Classic Sunset Rendevouz” Pattaya

The first of July became an unforgettable day for people who are loving classic cars.
They had the chance to see a range of the MOST EXCLUSIVE CLASSIC CARS in the world at the Ocean Marina Resort Pattaya.

The stars have been a MERCEDES BENZ 300 SL GULLWING from 1954, a MERCEDES BENZ 600 PULLMAN, a “BULLIT MUSTANG FASTBACK” (the same Ford model which got driven by Steve McQueen in the Block Buster Hollywood movie BULLIT in 1968) and an extremely rare “RUF PORSCHE” 911 surrounded by other beauties like Chevrolet Corvettes and a 12 cylinder Jaguar E-Type, all cars in breathtaking perfect condition. In total have been 40 cars at display. Hundreds of visitors enjoyed this Saturday classic car meeting between 4pm and 8pm.

This Charity event organized by the OCEAN MARINA RESORT in cooperation with the members of “Classic Cars Friends Pattaya”, created during this 5 hours event 42,500 baht for the children of “Human Help Network Foundation Thailand” and “Anti Human Trafficking Center” in Pattaya.

The Covid time is a big challenge for many people and it will probably be with us for a longer period of time.

I would like to provide some information with this letter. I have already spoken to some people who would also be happy to help (organization or support of events, meetings, trips, etc.).

Since yesterday there is a new restaurant with the cool name "V8 Fast Line". A very nice location with great classic cars and rare motorcycles as well as very good food. There is this unique themed restaurant in Pattaya and we wish the whole team every success.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 period, we cannot offer any activities. We need a little patience now and we all have to stand together so that better times will come again as soon as possible.

Many of you know & some of you work & race at The Bira Circuit in Pattaya/Chonburi.
Prince Bira is who the track is named after. He was a successful racing driver in the pre Formula 2 years of the late 30s & also raced Formula 1 in the early 50s.

On Saturday at the Coffee and Cars event in Pattaya there were many cars present, but no real eye-catchers were to be seen. Nice cars, unfortunately no coffee or other drinks were available. There was good weather and a friendly atmosphere, as well as a lot of people. More information can be seen here:

With “Cars and Coffee on Vacation” the Tourism Authority of Thailand is organizing a very nice theme festival for two days on Saturday, March 20 and Sunday, March 21, in the vicinity of the new skate area at the port of Bali Hai in South Pattaya.

Obviously, more than 300 exotic cars are to come. A wide variety of rare automobiles will be presented, including classic cars, luxury cars, supercars, etc. Food trucks, food trucks and other sales vehicles will be present.
