If you like Afghan and Middle Eastern music you need to listen to my friend Michel Gasco, amazing OUD and RABAB player, I saw him last year in Brisbane and I was mesmerised, super nice person too, he will be touring Australia in 2025 and doing a show with some very special guests!

I just received an email from Vermont in the USA, Mr. Charlie" Frazier / WIZN / Blues For Breakfast
Thanks for the cd Mark Easton
I really love the way you interpret the songs on the cd. To me it’s all about that, no imitation.
I keep wanting to pull the trigger on going to Byron Bay Bluesfest, have you ever played that?
Keep me in the loop for any new music and if you ever come to my neck of the US.
It’s nice to get a bit of feedback from radio stations every now and then!
NOTHINGS SACRED by MARK EASTON has come in at number 4 on the Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Chart, which is fantastic considering the high calibre of artists in the chart, and the fact that mixing blues with Mongolian, Kazakh and middle eastern folk music, isn’t everyone’s cup of tea!

It’s with great sadness I regretfully have to tell you that our founding guitarist Marc DeHugar has passed away at 52 in hospital yesterday!
Marc was 17 when he joined the band, after he played me a tape of his playing!
He played so fast I thought he had sped the tape up, so I went around to his grandmothers house in Paddington to see if he was for real and he proceeded to blow me away totally!
He was a guitar genius!
We had some great times together!
Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and fans!
Until the next time we meet!
Mark Easton
