If you have a passion you are desperate to follow then don't let the any of these things be a reason for not doing it. ⁠

I completely understand being busy and overwhelmed - I'm a Mum of 3 boys myself :) ⁠
⁠
And when I started my business 8 years ago I had three children under 5, a full time job, the responsibilities of running my household and all the other things I hear from people every day about the reason they can't start *right now*. ⁠
⁠
I'm not saying that to say I'm better than you - just to say that if you are desperate to do this you will find a way! ⁠
⁠
Here's a few practical things that I did when I was first starting: ⁠
⁠
👉🏻 I got up earlier and did an hour or so on my business (then just a side hustle) before I went to work⁠. This is a habit I still have today. ⁠
⁠
👉🏻 When I was watching TV with my husband in the evening I would write a blog post for my website⁠
⁠
👉🏻 on the weekends I would ask my husband to take the boys on an outing - e.g. to the park - for a few hours - so I could get a bit of time to myself to work on my business. ⁠
⁠
👉🏻 once I started getting clients I would see them in the evenings after work and on the weekends. This actually worked better for clients anyway as most of them also worked full time (they didn't know it was my side hustle of course!). ⁠

After about 9 months of working like this I had replaced my 6 figure corporate salary and left my full time job. ⁠
⁠
Was it hard work? ⁠
⁠
YES!!!⁠
⁠
Did it require commitment from our full household?⁠
⁠
Also yes... ⁠
⁠
I'm very lucky to have a very supportive husband who has encouraged me and helped me along the way. ⁠
⁠
If you aren't so lucky don't let that stop you - you will just have to find a different way to make it work (e.g. how do you spend your lunch hour in your job at the moment, for example?!). ⁠

Even with just a few hours a week I was able to make huge strides forward in my business and get it to the point where I could leave my old, boring life behind. ⁠

As with everything I post, this is sent with encouragement and love - not judgement! ⁠
